Life's Moments

Sooo today was the first day back from spring break... even though I really didn't go anywhere like Florida or Mexico, I truly enjoyed the week just the same. I would have loved to have some warmer weather, but I still had a nice week... Today my class felt like it was never going to end!! I swear the 2.5 hours of lecture felt like 5! YIKES! Hopefully tomorrow goes a lot better!



I never really blogged about the trip to Grand Rapids...
Bobby and I had a really fun time going there. Its about 120 miles from Jackson. I got to Bobby's (B) around 11ish and we made lunch and left his house somewhere around noon. We took my car, the good ol' sunfire and started our little day trip. We went to Allendale first to check out Grand Valley. I had never really seen it, and what people say is true, it is in the middle of a corn field...NO JOKE! So we go to GVSU around 2ish and drove around the campus and went into the student services building to pee. Then we drove around this little bitty farming town to look at appartments and such and there really wasn't a whole lot! After looking around, we met up with Brian, who lives in Grand Rapids with his Sister and her family. Brian took B and I to downtown GR and showed us the downtown campus, which was really nice, and I liked that part of GVSU the best. I think I just like the downtown life. There seems like there is always something to do and everything is close by, no driving 25 minutes to get to a store! lol. We went to dinner at Famous Dave's and It was delicious! We all got ribs ( its what they are known for!) and we had a great time just hanging out.
A little afterwards B and I made our way back to J-town. We both had a nice time looking around and seeing Brian.
