Well my friend Kate from work took the stray Sunday. Well on Monday I called to find out how things were going...well lets just say Kate's roommate has an allergy to cats that she never knew about! So I met Kate again today and brought the kitten back home. Let's just say my mom was VERY happy. She loves to have a cat around. So we are going to keep the stray kitten, and when she has a name, I'll let you know. If you know of any cute girl cat names, help a girl out!

Last night, Bobby and I ventured to Lansing to take part in watching a Lugnuts game. We both hadn't been in a LONG time and we thought it would something fun to do on a Saturday evening. Something different.

So we set off for Lansing. And when we got there, we found a place to park and walked over to the Nut House to get something to eat before the game. Bobby got a really good looking Cajun Chicken burger and I got on Georgia Ruben (which was little different. It had smoked turkey, Swiss cheese and Amish Cole slaw on it. Good. But different.) Then after we chowed down our food, we went and found our seats for the baseball game. Our seats we on the first base line, but more towards Right field. They were good seats none the less. And we Both had a great time. The Lugnuts lost the game 4-8 against the Fort Wayne Wizards, but it was still pretty fun to just sit around at the park and watch some baseball. After the game, there were fireworks at the park. Then we made the journey back home.

We like to take silly pictures!!! Ha! Say CHEESE!

I have some sad news to share. On Friday we put our 10 year old kitty Buddy to sleep. We were very sad, my mom is the saddest out of all of us. He hadn't been eating the last few days and on Friday Buddy was in the driveway panting and drooling uncontrollably. So my mom took him into the vet and they put him down. Buddy was a really nice cat. We got him from the vets office and he was in a kennel with his arms stretched through the bars and was reaching out for my mom and I. We took him home that day. He was a sweet playful kitten. He would lay on your lap but on his own terms. If you moved he was gone. ( More in his older years. ) Buddy was an indoor/outdoor cat. He would hunt mice and birds and he would bring them up to the deck, and leave nothing but their butts at the doorway. We will miss Buddy. He really was the best cat that we have ever had. He knew better then to go into the road, which was a blessing.

Now I wanna keep that little stay kitten, so does my mom. BUT I already pretty much gave her away. The timing was off. I know that if I talked to Kate ( the girl adopting the kitten) and told her what happen, she would say " Don't worry about it, its not a big deal. You guys keep her." But in my heart I know that isn't fair to her. She's had three days to think about getting this kitten and has probably bought all the goodies for her. So I am meeting her this afternoon with her new kitten.

Here's a few extra pictures of SK ( Stray Kitten) and Cooper.

I'm continuing the 'Thought for Thursday' trend off of Heather and Nicole's Blog. Its kind of a neat idea.
SO tonight my thought is about crazy drivers. What are these people thinking??!?!?!?! Seriously! On my way home from work ( in Chelsea) I am driving down Main Street, coming up to the lights right before I-94. I am the first one at the light. There is a left turn lane next to me and there is 2 lights in front of me. Mind you both the lights are RED. This MINIVAN ( minivan drivers tend to drive on the WILD side as it is) pulls up next to me in the left turn only lane. He rolls down the window and yells " Hey, Can I go ??" Meanwhile I'm sitting in my car thinking..." What the hell???" I don't say a word to him, I just kinda act like I cant hear what he's saying. Well all of a sudden this dude takes off. While the light is still RED. He drives through both red lights and turns onto 94. The guy in the car behind me just shakes his head, as do I.

People get crazy when they get behind the wheel. Its kinda scary! And I swear some people that drive minivans are the worst! Its like they think the own the road all because they have a kid(s) on board. It drives me nuts!

I heard on the radio today that there was this teenage girl (somewhere down south) that was driving and trying to send a text message at the same time...she ended up driving off the road and into a crowd of people!!!! Can you believe that???? She ended up injuring like 8 people. OH MY GOD! What the hell is so important that this girl couldn't wait to say or text????
People do not think sometimes, I swear! Wheres common sense gone?
So watch out for CRAZY DRIVERS!

I have found my little stray kitten a new mommy!!! A girl from work is going to take her. It was kinda funny; I walked into work this morning, and started tell the story of how we came about this kitten. Well Kate has been looking for a kitten! Finding her (the kitten) a new home was sooo easy! A LOT easier then what I thought it would be. She said that she looked at the shelters and they charge 90 bucks for a cat. All because they get them fixed. And then...if you get one cat, you can get a second for a buck!!! HAHAHAHAH! OMG, I could NOT believe that!
Needless to say, Kate is very excited about getting a new kitty. We're gonna meet up on Sunday. So I will get a little kitten time as well! :)

Well first off, yesterday was my day off and I just did catch up things. Laundry, a couple errands, and I gave Cooper a bath. He doesn't really mind them. He just gets cold when its over with. He looks too cute when he gets out of the bath.... hHaha.

But once he gets dried off and is warm, he is much happier!

.....

Then for the second subject...

I came home from Bobby's this evening, and walked in the door. Said hello to my dad and asked him about things were going today. His reply, " You don't wanna know." SO I don't push him to tell me. I have learned over the years when to stop asking questions. So a few minutes later I ask what happened today. He says, " Come here." Then points towards the kitchen table. And I look around and say..." what?" He says " Look under the table." And there I see this little kitten. A very unplanned kitten.

My dad DOES NOT like to have cats in the house. He hates the fact that they poop inside the house. But my dad LOVES calico kittens. They for some reason are his favorite. Anyway... that isnt the point. So we are going to try to find a home for this sweet little girl kitten. She is very cuddly and very cute! Any takers????? Seriously...anyone????

BY THE WAY...

Cooper loves her to death!!!! He is constantly licking her and trying to play with her. He will NOT leave her alone! Its actually pretty amusing to watch them together. This kitten (no name) wants to play with Cooper! She will chase him and he chases her.

Too cute!

Coop man is in love....

So if anyone would like a kitten or knows of anyone that would like one, please let me know!

With cell phones.
My mom and I share a cell phone plan. We get 1000 minutes with free nights and weekends, with T-mobile. The signal is well...okay. Sometimes you get a full signal, sometimes you've got no signal. Lately we've been talking about switching and getting a different plan. Well, there's lots of choices... Alltel, Centennial, At&t (Cingular), Verizon, Sprint...how do you choose?
We don't need 1000 minutes. We don't even come close to using all those minutes between the 2 of us. We would be okay with 500 minutes. Does anyone reading have any thoughts about what services they use and what they like? ? ? I might not even get a share plan. I might get something separate, something cheap. A lot of companies have the pay as you go phones, but I'm not so sure about those. I think I would rather just pay 40 bucks a month, and KNOW that I have minutes plus free nights/weekends.
Does anyone have any input? Any Ideas? Or Any Suggestions?
I'd really appreciate it!
Please, give me some feedback, anything!!!

I'm at work. Its kinda, no really slow. There's five patients. I am in no way complaining. BUT, its slow. And I HATE working when its slow because the day literally just drags. Now yes, everyone once in awhile a nice slow day is very welcomed. But I am the type of person that likes to stay busy. And when I am not, I try to find things to do. Like today for example I set up all the post-op rooms for Monday and cleaned rooms up. There just isn't anything 'extra' that I can do. I am answering lights and doing things here and there, but it is just slow.
After work, whenever that time comes I am going to stop by at an open house and then I think later I am going to take Cooper to the park. I haven't taken him in a while. I thought that might be fun. And I might even do some scrapbooking. Tonight might get crazy!!! :)

Today was an awesome day! IT was 90 and sunny! My favorite!!! I worked till 3:30 then went to Bobby's and we went swimming. It felt soooo wonderful! The water was warm, but not bath water warm. And with the sun shining, it was perfect. Bobby and I just relaxed.

Tomorrow I have the day off ...a much needed day off. I am going to sleep in!!! Then I HAVE to, HAVE TO do laundry and run a couple errands.

As for the rest of the day...who knows!

Sorry for the short post, more to come soon!!!

Real quick, I just wanted to post a funny picture of Bobby and I....

I SWEAR this week has been none stop!!! I have been on the go. With work, Bobby, me time and doing things like laundry, the week has disappeared.
Today after work, Bobby and I went swimming. It felt SO, SO good! The water was about 80 degrees and it was wonderful to just sit back a relax. This was the first time that we have gone swimming this summer and it was very nice.
As for the rest of this week, I am working a 12 hour shift tomorrow and then I work 8 hours Thursday. And Thursday night, Bobby has a hockey game, which I might actually go to ...even though the game is at 10:30, that's right I said it.... 10:30. Late huh??? Good thing I have Friday off!!!
Well I better get going to bed.
I just put clean sheets on the bed....AAHHhhhh I can't wait to hit the hay!!!

On My way home from Bobby's, I could not stop crying. As I was driving, I started thinking about this young girl, that just graduated from High School that was in a car accident near Bobby's house. Well that triggered my thoughts about this guy (Mark) that graduated a year before I did; Mark was killed by a drunk driver. It happened the summer that I graduated so Mark wasn't even 20. Mark and I had been good friends all through high school. He was kind, and caring and if he saw that something was wrong he would want to help. He was such a sweet guy. Well I never got to go to his funeral. So I guess that I didn't really get any "closure."

Well driving home I just felt a rush of emotion and started to think about Mark. He was a good friend and was always there. I had 1000 thoughts running through my head and I just cried the entire way home. I was thinking about my 16th birthday party and him being there, and how he would give me rides home from school, how he would make everyone laugh at the lunch table and how much he cared for not only me but for all his friends. I got to my house, pulled into the garage and just started to cry harder. I sat there for a couple minutes and then finally went into the house. I think that just thinking about that young girl dying recently made me start to think about Mark. Plus I am very tired and I have been awake since 4 am. (Which probably doesn't help any.)

It is just so hard to think about Mark being gone. Tears are in my eyes as I type this. You never think that the last time you see someone will actually be the last time you see them.
It is still very hard for me to think that Mark is gone. Sometimes I find myself thinking that he's home because his mom still has his truck in the driveway.

I guess that I just haven't let go of my friend: Mark.

For a week my interent hasn't been working...and its been driving me nuts! So a man for At&T came out to the house to fix things, and at the same time hooked up my wireless interent. I am LOVING it! Its sooo nice! I can't believe how much I missed having the interent this week. I haven't blogged all week and I haven't been able to keep up with anyone elses blogs. So Im really not ignoring anyone, I just didnt have the interent! :)
On with the post....

Oh my word, this week has just flown, seriously flown by. I don't even know where to begin...it has been that crazy! Well let's see...I worked most of the week. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday (13 hour shift!), Thursday, Friday(10 hour shift.) SO that kept me pretty busy. And Tuesday I just ran around town and got some errands taken care of, such as, getting my oil changed, picking up a prescription, stopping at Kohl's to make a return. Such fun things !! Then I went to Bobby's and we just hung out before his hockey game.
Nothing too exciting happened this week...I worked, and saw Bobby a couple times and Cooper turned 1 on Tuesday. Those are the main highlights.
Jumping forward to the weekend....

Tomorrow I have a couple open houses I need to make an appearance at and then Bobby and I are going to have some fun together. I'm not sure what we will do, but tonight we decided that we would find something fun! I have been trying to spend a lot of time with Bobby. He's going to be going off to Wayne State in August. So I know that we both will be busy and we wont see each other very often, which means I have been making the most of our time together. Things will be very different when he goes to Detroit. I know its only Detroit, but I am so used to him being 20 minutes away and spending a lot of time with him. Im not so sure how I feel about him leaving or for that matter how I will react.
More to come later...
I'll update more in a day or two!
