Is SUCH a cutie!!! On Sunday I watched her for a little bit while Leslie, Lisa and Rocky went to do some shopping.

Well, hope you enjoy the pictures!!!I am off to go and study...I have a test tomorrow, and 2 more Thursday. YIKES!!!
since I graduated from high school in 2005. I know, its only been 2 years. But I still have learned my share of lessons. One of the biggest lessons that I have learned is about FRIENDS. I don't know why but I have been thinking about this a lot.
Here's the scoop:
When I graduated in 2005, I had a lot of friends. Some really good friends and some of them were just a little more than an acquaintances. Well when college came around almost ALL of my closer friends left Jackson and went elsewhere for their education. Michigan State, Western, Central, Grand Valley. I stayed in Jackson, to go to the community college. Well after they left I lost touch with my friends. They're busy like I am with classes and studying and maybe a job and I'm thinking they like to do a heck of a lot more parting then I do. The thing that kills me the most is that my best friend (no names just in case!) stopped talking to me because I was dating Bobby. Its not that she didn't like him. I seriously think that she was jealous of him and the relationship that we have together. So we haven't talked for almost a year and a half. I miss having a best friend, someone to always go to, but if she was that immature to get mad about Bobby then shame on her. One of the biggest lessons that this all made me realize is that your family becomes your closer friends. Yes, I have made friends with some of the gals that I work with and we hang out every once in awhile, and I make small talk with some people at school. But when it comes down to it, your family is your backbone. In a lot of ways I'm lucky. Not only do I have my own family. But I have Bobby and his family too!
Sorry for the bitching, but this bothers me!!! Its hard to go from having lots of friends that you hang out with to practically none. Sometimes I just feel like the biggest loser. But I know I'm not. I made the smarter choice to get some of my classes out of the way and for a cheaper price then going to a big university. But that doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt.
...about this stupid PERM anymore! Ha! Okay let me explain.
Sure...its easy...only if I put it up with clips and bobby pins. Otherwise if I just leave it down, and put a little product in it, its POOFS out like I'm livin' the 80's. OR if I try to add a little more product in it, my hair either gets a crunchy wet look or looks really greasy look, YUCK! So I'm really not crazy about it. Can anybody out there help with a little ADVICE as to what to do ?!?!?!
Can you buy something at the store that will relax it and make it go away? It makes me mad thinking about trying to get my hair straight again....its like 60 bucks down the freakin' drain. But my hair is driving my crazy! There is no happy medium.
ANYWAY....
Bobby and I gave each other our anniversary gifts yesterday. A little early but we both couldn't wait. We knew what we were getting each other...so the anticipation wasn't so bad that we couldn't stand it. I figured that since we both knew and everything that we would just do it early. So Bobby got me a book to put my pages in and refills. And he got some stickers and embellishments. I stayed up late last night going through pictures and few other scrapbook items that I had.
I started my scrapbook today! I'm really excited!! I did 2 pages today. It turned out pretty good. I was happy with my work. I like doing it too. It was relaxing and just my time. So hopefully later tonight I will work on my new scrapbook a little more...if I have the energy!
- Nicole - If you're reading, how do you post your pages online or on your post??
Well that's about it for now....Im gonna go and dig into the books....ONLY 6 DAYS LEFT FOR CLASSES!!!
This weekend has just been out of this world wonderful! It has been so gorgeous outside that I want every day to be just like today! Its about 75 and sunny. There's hardly a could in the sky! Its great!
Well Saturday I worked until 3:30, and then went over to Bobby's. We ended up going on a double date with Tom and Ashley. We had dinner at Applebee's. Went to Cascades Park and got Ice cream and walked around. Then we went back to their apartment and just hung out and played a game called "Quip It." It was a pretty fun night.
Then today I was on-call for work. So I woke up this morning and cleaned. My oh my did my room need it! Ha! It needed some MAJOR dusting. It was gross. But I'm glad that job is done for a week or two! Then I took Cooper to the park and we walked around and I got a Wendy's Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad. So Cooper and I sat on blanket at the park and I ate. Then I studied.
Later tonight Bobby is coming over to use my computer ( I have a faster Internet then he does) and then I think we are just going to hang out, work on a few things for school and just relax.
I hope everyone has had an awesome Sunday!
I sure have!

Yesterday Bobby and I hung out and went to the craft store so I could show him somethings that I wanted to get for my new scrapbook. That's what he is getting me for my anniversary...scrapbook items. We decided that instead of spending a lot of money and trying to rack our brains about what to get each other, that we would get each other something that we each wanted and wouldn't normally buy ourselves. So I am getting him some type of addition to his drum set and I am getting some scrapbook stuff. It sounded like a good deal to me!
Anyway...afterward, we went back to the Feister's and hung out with Leslie, Lisa and Rey. Later on Leslie and Rocky went to aerobics class and Bobby and I stayed with the baby. Here's a few pictures from the evening.

I just love those pictures!!! Her lips are so dang cute! Bobby wanted to compare his hand to hers and its so tiny! And I love the close up shot. What a star!

She really does like books!! Check out that grin!
She loves her Papa!I thought everyone who reads would enjoy those pictures! Bobby and I had a good time playing with my camera....:)
Well today I worked. Then when I got home because it was 70 degree's outside, I took Cooper to the park and now he is exhausted! As for me...I think a shower and some studying is calling my name!
Have a great weekend!
There is only 2 weeks and 2 days left of school. I cannot wait! But at the same time, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. I have lots to do. But I am happy that my big nutrition diet analysis is done, that is a big load off. I have 2 more Anatomy/Physiology Exams (One of them is this upcoming Monday) and 2 Pharm exams, and 2 Pharm Quizzes. For my nutrition class I have 2 quizzes and one final exam that I'm taking that final May 3rd. So It is most defiantly crunch time and I am feeling the pressure. There is going to have to be some major studying this weekend plus work. The I will be working my little booty off for the next 2 weeks. I don't think that I am going to take any summer classes. I am pretty sure that I am just going to work and try to enjoy as much of the nice summer weather that I can. Why the heck rush things ??? I plan to be taking 4 classes next fall and 4 next winter and then I will have an associates degree in Medical Assisting. I think I'm going to try that out and see how like it. I have always kinda felt that there was this big hurry to become a nurse. In the last few months, I have come to the realization that there really is not a big hurry. I can take my time and try things out and be spontaneous, not everything has to be done step by step. So I'm going to go for the medical assistant and do that, and then start to apply for the nursing after I work as a MA for a little while. Whats the rush, right???
Well I am going to go and take one of my Pharm Quizzes and try to get a few things done, like putting all the laundry I washed this weekned away. I am horrible about that. I will wash all my laundry and then it will just sit in the laundry basket all folded for a week. Haha.
Tomorrow I get hang out with Rey. Im excited! I haven't seen her in like a week so I think she needs some Aunt Emilie time!
I will be sure to take my camera!!

For a really great week! Today the weather was pretty nice. It was cool. Mid 60's and the wind is what made it feel pretty cool/chilly outside. I wish that the wind would die down and then the days would be pretty nice. ( God am I hard to please or what?!?! Im KIDDING!) It just figures that once Bobby's family from Florida leaves that the weather would change and become decent.
Tomorrow I am getting my hair done!!!!!!! I am going for something different. Im really board with my hair and need a change. Its something that most of you will not really expect. I will have to take a few pictures in a couple days, I say a couple days so I can get the hang of how to style it and everything!
Nothing much is really going on, except getting my hair done tomorrow. HAHA. I'm kinda looking forward to it... something to treat myself with and just to have some time for me. I love that! :)
Bobby and I are going to be celebrating our 2 year anniversary in a few weeks. (May 7th by the way.) So I need to get him a little something. He gave me a few ideas so I'm going to figure something out. I told him that I would like some scrapbook items. I really want to make a nice "grown up" scrapbook. Hahaha! I have 2 from middle school/high school and they are just okay. I didn't really take my time on them...so I want to make a new one. A really nice one. So I think Bobby and I are going to check out Michael's and Joann's this week, so I can give him some ideas. I realized...now that I have my point and shoot, I have a ton of pictures and I want to do something with them!
Okay well sorry if this post is random, but I just wanted to update everyone!
Have a great night!
I can't wait to see what my hair is going to look like tomorrow....I'm a little Nervous!
Okay, I need some guidance... I want to start a scrapbook!!!!!!!
What are some of the essentials I need???
Got any Tips???
Any advice???
Any ideas???
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thanks!!!
With posting this week. I swear this week has just flown by. Wasn't it just Wednesday??? Well here is a little bit of an update about whats been going on.
Wednesday Night I went with Bobby and his family out to dinner. We went to a restaurant called El Ranchito (S/P?). It was Bobby's grandparents last day in town. So we all went out for a little fiesta. It was a really fun time and the food was great. I had the combo platter... and there was sooo much food that when I was done eating, it looked like I had hardly ate thing! Here's a really cute picture of Bobby's Gran and Grandpa. It was soooo cold when they were here, I think they were more than ready to get out of Michigan and head south.
Jumping ahead to Saturday...Bobby and I took a little trip to Lansing. Bobby is going to play on a hockey league. So he needed to get a few new things to update his equipment. We were on a hunt for shoulder pads and a new helmet. So we went to this place called The Summit. Its right off I-96 and its a big sporting center, they have ice rinks and gymnastics and lots of stuff. Well they "sell" hockey gear. "Sell" meaning we went there and they didn't have ANYTHING. So Bobby and I left pissed. We were really hoping that they would have just what Bobby was looking for...well guess again.... they didn't have crap! So I wouldn't recommend going there if you need hockey stuff....
So the hunt countined...and in the end we didn't find what Bobby wanted. So I think he's going to have to go on a mission to Ann Arbor or Detroit. But I found some really cute tops at the Gap and Old Navy!!!
So after the somewhat dissapointing trip, we took a nap, at Chinease food with Rocky and Lisa ( Thank you By the way for dinner) and then made a quick stop at Kohl's. Where I found some much needed jeans, a top, and some really cute brown heals (also very needed ;). Then we went over to our friends Tom and Ashley's appartment. We played this game called Scene It? Squabble. Its a guy vs. girls type of game. It was really pretty fun even though the guys beat us but they settled for a tie.
As for today, its really nice out, SUNNY and mid 40's...so its chilly but the sunshine is awesome!
I slept in today which by the way was great. Its rare that I get so sleep in, so I enjoy it whenever I get the chance. This morning I just did some little things...changed my sheets, took a shower, did some laundry, did a little picking up...and then Cooper and I went outside for a little bit. He loves to play fetch. Here's a few puppy pics....

Aren't those cute??? I love the action shot of Cooper running with the ball! Haha.
I love my point and shoot camera, it takes such great pictures!!!
For the rest of my day I going to get some homework done for Pharm. and Nurtirion and then I think that because its so nice out that Im going to take Cooper to the park.
Then later Im going to head over to Bobby's where hopefully my wonderful boyfriend is going to help master some Anatomy and Phisiology. :)
Have a wonderful Sunday!
So lately I have been getting a lot of really painful headaches. I need to make an appointment to see my doctor. I kinda think they are migraines, but I'm not sure. They have been making one side of my head just throb, and a couple times it starts up my neck and works its way up. But I don't get sick or have any vision problems...I don't know. I need to call the doctor!
This past weekend was good. I hung out with Bobby and all his family, and on Easter Reyna was baptized. That was exciting. I missed the actual ceremony because my parents and I went to Rochester Hills to see my Aunt and some of her kids. It was nice, but then again it kinda sucks because there isn't anyone my age... There's my aunt and uncle, their kids that are in their 30's, then ME (20), and then a ton of little kids....so when I'm there I'm kinda loner. But nevertheless, it was nice to see everyone. Afterwards, my mom and I went to the Feister's to see all of Bobby's fam. It was really nice. I really like Bobby's family. PLUS there are people my age there! Bobby, Kristin, Justin, Leslie...so that's nice!
Monday I had class and hung out at Bobby's for a little bit and then today has just been a really relaxing day. I went to class and saw Bobby...came home and made lunch and watched TV and took a nap. Now I'm getting ready to eat dinner and work on homework and study.
I hope that everyone is having a great start to the week!
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
This is just going to be a quick little post.
I have got a pretty bad headache and need to get some things done for school.
I hope that everyone has had a great day!
So since Reyna's Baptism is this Sunday, a lot of family has come to celebrate! Yesterday Gail and her hubby Louis and their little boy, Louie got to Michigan !! It is very exciting to see them! The baby Louie is getting so big. And he just loves, I mean LOVES Bobby.
Check out Bobby and Louie playing the guitars together:

Today I worked from 7 - 3:30 and it was a pretty long and busy day. In a little bit, I am meeting Bobby and all the fam at one of the local churches that is having a Lental fish fry. Afterwards, Bobby and I are coming back to the house and I think we are going to watch one of the movies we rented...Borat or Stranger then Fiction with Will Ferrel (sp).
I am hoping to have a nice relaxing night because I go back to work tomorrow! Yes, I have to work this weekend ..:( But money doesn't grow on trees ya know?!?!?
I think that Champ was even worn out yesterday...check out this picture...
Well have a great night and a awesome weekend!
Its somewhere in the 30's outside and it is pretty cold! April and 30 degrees don't really mix that well in my mind. Yesterday, it was pretty nice out, upper 60's and today, it is just plain cold and windy. Plus add in the occasional snow/rain/sleet/hail that falls down every so often. YUCK!!!! Lately I have been very antsy for the weather to actually change for real, and to be WARM ! BUT If it does warm up, I need to get some new spring/summer outfits because when I look in my closet, all I have is fall/winter stuff...so I am going to making a trip to Lansing to do a little spring shopping. Anyone feel like coming along???

Today I helped my mom start spring cleaning.
Here's how my day has gone : I woke up at 7:30, went to the gym and worked out for about an hour and 20 minutes. Then made a quick stop to target and then dashed off to school for lecture.
Afterwards, I came home and started to clean, clean, clean. My mom is taking this week off from work at the church and is going to do some deep cleaning she says. So today we dusted, mopped, washed the windows on the doors, moved all the furniture to vacuum and cleaned both bathrooms. The house looks and smells 100% better.
Now I am pooped. Pooped and a little frazzled.
I have a pharm. quiz to do tonight. A pharm test tomorrow, an A & P test Wednesday, and a 130 point project that is due next Monday for my nutrition class...so I have a lot to get done in the next couple of days. So I better get to it!
Have a great night!
Today I had a really nice time with the gals. Lisa, Leslie, Gran, Rey and I met Kristin and Kim in Ann Arbor and did some shopping. I didn't buy anything, but it was a great afternoon. Something we really should do more often!!!
We did find a baptismal gown for Reyna.
I took a couple pictures...but I never got one of everyone together.
Here is a really super cute picture of Kristin with Reyna :
On the ride home, Reyna was very awake and talkative...here's a picture of her in the car . . . .
Well that's all for now, School work needs to get done, and I'm in the middle of laundry.
Have a good night!
Let's all hope that's true! Right now, it is sunny and looking gorgeous outside! I hope it stays that way!! I CANNOT wait for it to be nice and warm outside. Its a good way to start off April!
I have lots to do today ...here's the list so far:
- Update Norton
- Change my sheets
- Workout
- Take a shower
- Play with Cooper and get him outside
- Put some clothes away
- Start Laundry
- Study for Pharmacology, and A&P
Will that list be completed today??? Ummm probably not... Hahaha!
Today I am going with the Feister Ladies to go and find Reyna a baptismal gown. We are going to Ann Arbor for the hunt. Meeting us there are Kristin (Reyna's God Mom) and Kim (Kristin's Mom) I think Its going to be a fun afternoon of shopping, eating, laughing and having a good time together. And yes, I am taking my camera!!!
So I am going to go and try to get a few things accomplished off my list...and the rest will have to wait!
I hope that everyone is having a great Sunday!!
Happy April Fools Day!
First off...I am alive! Sorry that I haven't kept up with new posts...the week has just flown by and before I knew it I realized that I have not posted in a while.
Well Like I said there has been a lot going on...
Tuesday all the Feister's/Collin's met at Yen King and celebrated Jade's 28th birthday! It was a fun time. And the food was great. I got the lemon chicken, one of my new faves! For Jade's Birthday, Bobby and I got him a Cabala's(sp?) gift card. Well we ordered if online Monday and had it mailed to his house. Thinking, that's a gift that will give him an excuse to drive down to the store and do some shopping...Well funny thing that happened...a friend of Jade's asked him to go to Cabala's and Jade hadn't even gotten the gift yet. So when he did, I think he was pretty stoked about it and using it when he goes next week! Happy Birthday Jade!
Here's a few pictures from dinner :

I always seem to catch Leslie and Jade at funny moments!!! :) Reyna was pooped from the party!!!
Wednesday I basically went to school, and then went and babysat the Phelps kids...
Only one more Wednesday left to watch them....then we move to the Thursday's.
On Thursday, I went to Anatomy lab, and then stopped over at the Feister's. From there I went to work and was at work from 3-midnight...came home and then went straight back to work Friday from 7-3:30....that made from a loooooooooong day! But I get the weekend off, So am HAPPY!
Friday night was fish fry night...Rocky, Lisa, Bobby, Les, and I (plus Rey of course) went and had fish and it was pretty darn good. After that we all just kinda relaxed from being So full!
Friday was my neice Marissa's 11th birthday!! Happy birthday girly! I love you!
Saturday I slept in, I was pooped! Then I went to Bobby's and we hung out and waited for his Grandpa and Gran to get to their house. They drove up from Florida to meet Reyna and to see everyone. Plus Next Sunday is Rey's Baptism! Leslie and Jade went out with Jade's cousins last night and left the baby with Lisa, and of course I helped! So we went and got ice cream and movies and when we came back, they were there!
Here's some pictures of the baby from last night :

Champ was watching Rey too! Grandma was making her laugh at bath time!
