Life's Moments

This weekend has been alright. Im kinda kicking myself for not going to Chicago with the other girls that blog. I was going to go, but then I realized that I had a paper due the following week, 2 big tests and another project. And honestly, I think apart of me held back from going because I was worried that I would feel out of place. Stupid I know. But everyone that went is married and has kids. So ...silly me, I worried about it. I still shouldn't have let it stop me from going, right? Anyway, I decided not to go, and hopefully they will all want to meet up again soon and I will be able to go then, right?

So what have I accomplished? I have a good start on my paper. 5 our of the 8 pages are done, and I hopefully will be able to work on it some more and finish the darn thing. Its due Thursday so I want to have it done and ready to go, so I don't have to worry about it. Tonight I also want to start on my other project. Its called a "pedboard" and its something that is done in a medical office and its kinda like balancing the checkbook ( which I HATE doing). Ehhh.

I really want to become more "Crafty" .......I have made a few quilts, scrapbook, and can knit one thing which is washcloths. But I want to learn something new.....any suggestions???

Well that's it for now, Im gonna try to get some work done!

Friday was a pretty busy day.

I had class, and I ended up staying from 9-12. After class, I drove over to Jade and Leslie's to watch Reyna like I normally do on Friday's.

Rocky watched the baby in the morning because Leslie went to Chicago for the weekend and left pretty early. Reyna and I played, she took a nap, we had some snacks and played a little bit outside. I told Leslie that I would post some pictures for her, since she will be gone all weekend.

When Jade came home from work, I met Rocky and Lisa at Meijer and we drove to Troy to watch Bobby play hockey. My Aunt Carol and Uncle Lee met us there too! Bobby playes on league with my two cousins, Bob and Tim. I think he has enjoyed it. Last night was the championship game and Bobby's team, "Nitro" came in 2nd place. It was a very exciting game. The score was 4 -4 and they went into overtime. Very fun to watch.

After the game, we went over to the bar, got a couple drinks, ate some Nachos and hung out. It was nice to be able to see my Aunt and Uncle, and my cousins. We don't really get to see each other very often. And it was nice to see Bobby, since he wont be home this weekend.

It was a very fun, jam packed day!

My mom has been working really hard on redecorating the living room. She and my dad spend all last week working. My sister wanted to see some pictures, so I just thought I would post them here!!

What the heck! Where's spring and when is it getting here?

I tell ya, I am so antsy for spring, its driving me nuts!

I just want to be able to leave the house with no coat, and I wanna be able to go outside with out freezing my butt off!!

Spring better get here soon!

But its not coming today, I guess in southern michigan we're going to be getting up to 6 inches...maybe more!

Okay I really, really did not want to wake up this morning. My head was pounding and my body felt heavy. I was sleeping so hard and sound then when my alarm went off, I swear I could not pick my arm up to shut it off! I think my problem was that I didn't go to bed until 1 Am. Big mistake. I am the type of person who needs sleep. At least somewhere close to 7 hours. But I always feel like if I get more like 9 hours of sleep then I seem to wake up just as tired as I was when I went to bed. And I have been tired a lot lately. Im not sure of the exact reason of why I have been feeling like this.

Anyway...

I woke up, got ready, made a lunch and left for class.

I get there and everyone is waiting in the hallway for our teacher. This is typical. Some days she doesn't get there until 9 o'clock on the dot. So the teacher get there, unlocks the door, and we all file into the room.

Turned out that our teacher had to take her 85 year old mother to a doctors appointment last minute. SOOO NO class today! Woo hoo!!

My thought for Thursday.... IDIOTS!
Im gonna make this kinda short, so I don't get too mad!

So this afternoon Bobby noticed that "something" happened to my car.

He came in the house and asked, "Emilie, did you hit something?"
My reply..." NO! Why?"
He says, " Because the front of your car has a crack in it and some scratches, like you hit something."
I say, not so calmly..." WHAT?!?! Freaking IDIOT drivers....!!!"

So SOMEONE hit my car, Im guessing backed into it, or pulled forward and "bumped" it and then just left. Assholes! Some people in this world that drive, should NEVER ever ever have a freaking driver's license.
You would think that if someone hit your car, they would have the common sense to leave a note, or something. It really pisses me off!!!! When I park at Target or Meijer or anything I don't really park in the "Congested" area.... I stay kinda in the back.

As I was thinking about my car, I could feel the headache coming. SHIT!

So thats another thing I am going to need to get fixed!

Has this ever happened to you? Or have you ever hit someones car... if you did, what did you do?

I personally haven't ever hit someones car. Ok, I take that back. . . . one time after I had just gotten my license, I was backing up in the driveway and I bumped into my dad's truck. He wasn't happy. I didn't hit it hard ( Which is probably what the idiot who hit my car thought...but still get your butt out of the car and look for crying out loud!) ANYWAY... when I bumped my dad's car, it didn't even scratch it.
But it was a good lesson...take your time when you are backing up the car Em. Ha!

Just thought I would post something short and sweet before I head off for class.

This week has seemed to fly by!!! I went out with my mom and Bobby for lunch and a movie on Monday, Tuesday I worked and then Bobby came over to my house for dinner. I made a roast with potato's and carrots!...its was great! And today I worked and have class at 6. Woohooo!

Nothing super exciting, but it really hasn't been a bad week! I am looking forward to the weekend!

Soo I was on call for today.

I must have been sleeping hard because my cell phone rang twice and I never heard it. So then the house phone rang...its the hospital. . . they need me to come in. Okaaaaaaaay. I get up and get ready....

I arrive at work. 3 patients. That's it???
So Im here at work. And I will probably be leaving around 3. Let's just say its been a slow day! But who am I to complain??

After work, I am going to hang out with Bobby. I think we are just going to be vegetables! ha!

Yesterday . . . I met a friend at Applebee's and we had lunch and did a little shopping. I have a couple pictures but I will post them later. It was sooo nice to hang out with her. I'll post more about that later.

Also, I have to post about school...... but its gonna have to wait!

Then last night.... I met up with Jade, Leslie, Reyna, Rockey and Lisa and Katie and Don and there little boy Donnie. ( who is adorable!!) We went to one of the local churches for a fish dinner. It was soo good! I always look forward to Friday night fish dinners! As for the rest of the night, I ended up coming home and just relaxing. It was a great day!

Sooo sooner or later I am going to be getting an apartment.

Here's the skinny :

I will finish with medical assisting this spring, and will be graduating from the wonderful JCC.
I am going to be on a waiting list for another colleges' nursing program. So in the meantime I am going to be working as a MA and I might try to work at Chelsea to keep my insurance benefits because they are pretty good and I only have to work 2 days a week there to keep them.

With all that happening, I might be getting my own apartment. Im not 100% sure, just considering it.

I want to know what your thoughts are about apartments. Did you ever live in an apartment?
Im planning on going around town to price things out and check out a few places.

What kind of advice can all you reader give me.... I want your input!

That's right.... I am a big time blog SLACKER! Im sorry to all my blog friends.....!

So what has been going since LAST THURSDAY???

Well lets see...

FRIDAY: I watched Reyna during the day. Made a pit stop over at Bobby's. He had been feeling sick and went to the doctor so I went to see how he was doing.... and then after that, I met my good friend Lindsey for a some drinks. We went to this place called The Office and then walked over to The Crazy Cowboy. It was a good time. I didn't really drink a lot because I drove home. I'm so responsible huh? :)

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: I spent those days just kinda hanging out with Bobby. He had a sinus infection and just ached. So we watched TV, played some old school video games, and just layed around. I must say, it was very nice... nothing to do and nowhere to go.

THIS WEEK IS MY SPRING BREAK.
Yah, Im not going anywhere for spring break. I know, Im really livin it up. Instead I am working.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY: I worked. Nothing to special.... after work, I just came home and relaxed and hung out.

TODAY: I have had a freaking headache since I woke up this morning.... !!!I was on-call which means I have to sit around until 1 to see if my phone rings. Its not too bad really. They pay me..(kinda) and I just try to this of it as getting paid to sleep in, watch TV and shower. This afternoon Cooper and I went into town and ran a couple of errands. When I came home I finally decided to take something for my head. I dont know why, but I always wait. Like I think " hmm maybe if I wait a little while it will just go away. Well my migraine never went away. So I took a Midrin and layed down for a little while. When I woke up I was feeling a little better and actually ate dinner. That's a good sign.

TONIGHT: I need to work on somethings for school. Yay!!!

THURSDAY: I am working.
