Denise even made a very cute card!!! I am sooo surprised! Thank you again Denise! I love my gift! It was perfect!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Tonight was my last night to work at Sylvan. I am almost relieved in a way. It was becoming a hassle to leave the hospital a little early, to scurry over to Sylvan to work for 3 hours! PLUS I wasn't real crazy about the hours...I had to be there until 7:30. And let me tell ya, on the days that I went to Sylvan straight from the hospital it was hard. By the time I got home, I was ready for bed. I would eat dinner and go to bed most of the time. It just became a little too much for me to handle. I found that I was getting a tad stressed and had a feeling of being overwhelmed. Especially when I had classes, was working at the hospital AND at Sylvan. Next semester I think I will be a little calmer, a bit more organized and be a little happier. I am glad that it is done with. I must admit, it was nice working there, I was there 4 months and brought in a little extra cash for my savings. It really wasn't a bad experience or anything. Just a little too much on my plate. Have you ever worked 2 jobs before????
WHEW......
I am very EXCITED for Christmas... only a few more days!!!!!
So I am going to go get ready for bed...I'm tired and I have to get up at 5:30!
I am still waiting to get my Bloggers Secret Santa gift...
Everyday I come home and look around to see if it has arrived...
Maybe today........
I can't wait to get home from work to see!
Saturday night when I left Bobby's house, it was snowing. A couple inches, nothing too bad...

Saturday morning I went over to the Feister's and Lisa and I made TONS of cookies. We made sugar cookies, snowball cookies, chocolate fudge and a pastry type desert with raspberry filling.
Baking cookies was an all day task!!!
We had fun doing it though. And when the day was done, we had cookies all over the counter top.

Reyna was staying the night with her Nana and Papa, and I got a few cute pictures of her to share. What kind of Aunt would I be if I didn't take any pictures of this cutie???

Let's just say that this week has been pretty busy, I watched Reyna on Monday, Worked at the hospital on Tuesday, Wednesday, today and I am working there tomorrow as well. Tonight I worked at Sylvan.
Tomorrow after work, I am babysitting.
Saturday I am making my Grandma's YUMMY Christmas cookies! A
Sunday I am relaxing ALL DAY LONG!!!
So between doing all of that I have been making "mini" stops to finish up my Christmas shopping. I still have a few things I need to pick up and get wrapped, then I am finished.
Well I am gonna go get a few things done, then I am off to bed, really early!!!
Hope everyone is having a great week!
Today I started to look at other colleges and I applied to 3.
We shall see what happens next.
Reyna and I spent the afternoon together. What a doll!! She was in a great mood today and she took an awesome afternoon nap. She always wakes up happy. She starts to cry, and then right when you wake through the door, she is all smiles!
This week I am working at the hospital, making Christmas cookie dough for Saturday, Finishing my Christmas shopping, finishing my computer class, babysitting the Phelps on Friday and whatever else come my way I will tackle!
Does everyone have their shopping done?!?!?!?

Bobby -
Thank you for being the man that you are, someone that is always there, always listening, always caring and always trying to make things better.
You take me for who I am without judgement and without question.
No matter how much of a pain in the ass I can be, you still love me!
You have this way of calming down, making me feeling better and you love in a way, that I have never been loved.
You are wonderful to me and I am very lucky and thankful to have you in my life!
I love you Bobby.
All my heart,
Emilie

I came home from work today, and the mail was on the table.
A letter from JCC.
Hmmm.....
I start to think "Could this be a letter about the nursing program? Its got to be!" I almost start to get that nervous/excited feeling.
I went upstairs.
Opened the envelope.
Dear Emilie,
Thank you for your recent application to the JCC Nursing Program. Unfortunately, we could not accept you in the program....
Blah, Blah, Blah............................
"WhAt!?!?!??!?!?!"
My first thought was SHIT, thats a bunch of bull. I have the grades for the program....I did realize that I am ONE credit away from the requirement, which is 50. One freaking credit!!!
So all night I have been bummed. I cried.... a couple of different time. I guess its just the feeling of not being good enough and the feeling of rejection.
Okay, so there are a million colleges out there, and I can't even get in to the stupid community college nursing program. Is it really gonna be any easier at a university or a different college??? I find it really hard to believe that I am going to get it anywhere else if I can't even get into the nursing program at JCC.
So tonight I am just kinda sitting around feeling sorry for myself. Im sure I'll be over it tomorrow, but tonight I am bummed.
Any words of wisdom out there????

I just got home from my last final for this semester!!!!
WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!
Can't you tell I am excited!!!!
So from now until January 7th, I am going to read all the books that I have been wanting to, work at the hospital, finish up working at Sylvan and enjoy myself!!!!
I have pictures to post of Reyna from Monday, I am going to wait until tonight!
Stay Tuned!
Two more to go.
I had my first final exam for this semester this morning. It went well. I am just kinda dreading the other 2 I have. One tonight and another tomorrow morning. BUT I will be very happy when they are all over with. I hate final exams, but then again, who doesn't?
In a little while I am going to head over to Leslie's to watch Reyna for the day. I wonder what we will do today.....???
I am going to be taking my camera, so I can post a couple pictures. She is getting big...almost 1!!!! (That's a crazy thought!!! )
So on January 19th I am turning 21, anybody have some recommendations for where I should go and what I should do??? I'm starting to think about it more and more!
I have had a couple people ask me what I would like for Christmas. I read on Leslie's blog how she listed 7 things she could like. So I thought I would go for it.
1. I really want an iPod Nano (Blue). Now that I am going to the gym, I don't have anything to listen to! Having music that I actually like will help make my gym experience soo much more enjoyable!
2. Grey's Anatomy Season 3. Its me favorite show, I own season 1 and 2 and now I need season 3 to make it complete!
3.Revlon Perfect Touch Lighted Oval Mirror. Something to help me pluck my darn eyebrows! Whenever I go over to Bobby's parents house, I always go and use Lisa's vanity mirror. It helps sooo much! Its a lot better then just a plain ol' mirror.
4. The Fray cd. Love their music!
5. A manicure/pedicure. I have never had one, and everyone talks about how wonderful they are...so one day I would like to find out what all the fuss is about!!!
6. Scrapbooking stuff. I really enjoy putting pages together, to capture the memory. (ha!) But sometimes I get bored with the same ol' stuff I have...so some new and interesting papers, and embellishments would be wonderful!
7. Lastly the greatest gift to me is being able to spend the entire day with all my family and people that I love. Having that day, where I dont have to worry about anything and nothing is really "planned" is so great! I think that is the greatest gift alone!
I can't believe its December already!!!!!!!!
I can remember when I was little how slowly the months passed, and how slow the days went by and now I am almost 21, and the days fly by and the months come and go in the blink of an eye.
What changes??
Probably my perspective on the day and the month. When you're a kid, you have no action list of what needs to be done, or places that you need to go in that day. All you care about is what will be for lunch and dinner, and what your day at school will be like and if you can have a friend spend the night.
Being a "grown up" is a lot different then what you think it will be growing up. I remember looking at someone that was older, in their twenties and thinking, "Wow, I can't wait to be just like them!" Well, here I am approaching 21 and I feel like there are cousins, nieces and other little kids that are thinking the same thing I once did. Its kinda weird!
Anyway....
I am very much looking forward to this month! I love December! Something about the holidays and everyone being so nice (most the time) and all the festivities that come during the month.
On Saturday, Bobby and I went to Somerset Collection, in Troy. WOW. That was my first time going to that HUGE mall and I was a bit overwhelmed. For anyone who has not been to this mall, its 3 stories and has just about EVERY store you could ever imagine. ( Hence why I was overwhelmed!) It has a sky walk and tons of escalators. Not knowing where the stores were that I wanted to go to was challenging. I think just because the place is soo big.
And the people.... Lets just say the people that are at this mall are from all walks of life. If anything the experience was just so we could go and people watch. Like Leslie told me....some of the outfits people there wear look strange and odd but they paid a ton of money for that one outfit. I came to the conclusion that they people there were to say it nicely, all about themselves....
Bobby and I played a couple little games while we were there. We realized that people were not moving out of the way at all for us, that we were moving out of the way for anyone that came near to us. So we started to not move to see if the other people there were kind enough to move so they wouldn't bump into us...lets just say that game didn't last long. Another game we played was "Counting all the Northface." There were tons of people with the brand Northface on. It was amazing! ha!
So lets just say, after we left Somerset, we went to another mall that was a little more low key. I did get a few gifts for a couple people. I was pleased to at least get a couple things for Christmas!
