The pictures are kinda "silly" but its somewhat hard to take pictures of yourself using the mirror. Ha!
Maybe I should like one of you pro's out there do it...
Sooooo what do you think???
I expect some feedback! (Please......)
My phone rang a little after 8AM and it was about my interview...the lady had to reschedule. She had some kind of conflict with her calendar. Sooo I don't have my interview until next Thursday. Oh well. I was all ready... I had an outfit layed out and everything ! haha!
So I took H&L to a park in town, and we went for a nice long walk. They fell asleep in the car on the ride home. I wore those kiddies out! I think next week we're going to go back to the park one day and another day we're going to go to the zoo. Weather pending of course!
Tonight I went to Bobby's... we made homemade salsa...YUM! His grandma Ruby came over and we all had dinner together...I left early because I am so tired. I'm going to be hitting the hay shortly.
Tomorrow I work in the morning and then in the afternoon I think my mom and I may go out and get lunch, maybe do a little shopping...always fun!
This week has just flown by...
I had the weekend off. Bobby and I went to Memorial Day fireworks, went out to dinner and a movie, went to a cookout, with some family and friends, and just relaxed. Monday was very warm! It was in the lower 80's and then Tuesday the temperature dropped 20 degrees. It made 60 feel pretty darn cool...fall cool. It was a great long weekend!
I've been working at my externship...that's still going pretty well. I actually have a job interview tomorrow. Its for a "float" Medical Assistant position. Here's what it involves... there's 7 medical offices, and basically I would be the person that "floats" from office to office to help out or if someone goes on vacation or is sick I would cover for them... I'm not super hot on the idea. In some of the offices, there's more then 1 doctor....so really that would mean I would have to know how EACH doctor likes things set up and done. That's a lot! So Im going to the interview, but I have to find out more information. So I will have to let you know what happens....
Tomorrow in the morning I nanny. Its going to be a pretty nice day so I think we are going to go to the park. Let H&L run around for a while and burn off some energy. So that will be my morning. The normal routine for H&L is when I get there, I make them breakfast. Afterwards, I get them dressed, and normally until 9 or so we just hangout and they can watch there show on tv. After that... I try to do something fun with them. The weather has been so crappy lately that we haven't really gone anywhere. So hopefully the weather stays nice so I can take H&L to some different parks, the zoo and a few other places. :)

So with me in this cute picture is in the middle there's the bride-to-be, Ashley. On the left is Lonni, she is dating Tom's ( Tom is the groom) twin brother Dan.
Soo tonight I think mainly out of being board I put my hair in soft rollers. Ya know, the ones that you sleep in overnight. HA! I look ridiculous like some crazy lady from the 40's with my hair up in rollers with one of those funny looking night caps. Sorry, no picture of that!! haahahah! But I thought I would give it a try and see if I like the look. If I do ...I will take a picture and post it tomorrow.... If its not so hot there won't be any picture...sorry. But seriously, I look pretty darn funny! I am hoping for some good results! :)
Nothing much new going on. I have just been super busy with the nanny job, my externship and working at the hospital, keeping up with my spring classes... and not to mention having some kind of social life. ;) But things are going well. I haven't posted much lately because there just anything real exciting to post.
Tomorrow I have the day off. Not for pleasure, but because my friends dad passed away and tomorrow is the funeral. Tomorrow is not going to be a fun day. Im not really looking forward to it.
Even though its Friday, Im not really excited for the weekend because I have to work. Don't get me wrong, I really don't mind where I work and all that, its just working on the weekend is sometimes hard and a pain in the booty. Not to mention, that I know there gonna be 10 some patients and I will be the only aide, so I will be running my tail off tomorrow, I just know it. I do like to get the paycheck ...so I shouldn't complain. I guess its the thought of getting up at 5:30 in the morning on a saturday...YUCK!
Today has been a nice day. I went to my externship...7-Noon. That went well. Im really enjoying it there. I know I will have some decisions to make in a couple months about if I would like to work there? if I will keep my job at the hospital? will I take classes in the fall? will I apply for a nursing program somewhere? and if so will I want to go to school full time or part time...????
We can just sum it all up and say there has been a lot on my mind. I am such a planner...I like to know. I always have since I was little..
Here's an example of what I would say:
Me: Mom what are we doing today.
Mom: Go into town.
Me: Where at in town?
Mom would say where ever...
Me: How long will we be there?
See what I mean... I like to know. I want to have plan. Sometime it drives me nuts! I need to let things go and just go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens. I think my always planning drives Bobby crazy sometimes. I like to have time and places.....don't ask I just do! :)
As for tonight's plan...laying low and relaxing.
Have a great night!
Good Morning! Yes I am posting again!!! Wooohooo!!! I just hope that people are actually reading this. ...
My externship is going great so far. Yesterday was only day 2 and I really am liking it the doctor's office I am at, the people there have been awesome!! I got to see a few procedure done and I had to give a cute little 4 year old boy a shot. The poor little guy just sobbed. Luckily they don't see kids/babies all that often. I don't know if I could give shots to little ones all the time...I guess I would have to think about how this vaccine will help them stay healthy. The shot actually did go well...little kids are hard because they are sooo skinny (most the time!) and so its easy to hit the bone, but I didn't! I was so proud! haha. That was my first shot since I finished my classes...but shhhhhhhh don't tell! :)
I started to nanny this week as well. And I think so far, so good. The kids are really cute! Yesterday we walked to a small park on the lake and played, and when we got back, they were worn out! I gave them lunch at 11, and the oldest Haden went down for a nap right after he was finished. I watch them again today and then tomorrow. If you have any neat little kid craft/activity ideas, send them my way....the kids are little 3 and 19months, so simple stuff....but I would love any ideas you may have! Please Share!!!!
Well I need to finish getting ready! Hope everyone has an awesome day!

All in all it was an excting night! And I was very glad that the people I love were able to make it!
This has been a busy week. I have lots to talk about... but Im going to post more later. Its almost dinner time. I have LOTS of pictures from Wednesday graduation, check back later tonight.
Tomorrow I start my externship for school. Im nervous. Its at a doctor's office in Grass Lake. Im sure it will go well but its just something different and thats why its scary. I'll have to post again tomorrow and tell you how it goes. Im going to follow Leslie's lead and try to post every day this week. Make sure you hold both of us to it! More later.
Sorry I haven't posted much lately...
I will post again tomorrow, AND I will post pictures from the night!
So you better check back!
Tomorrow is the day that I am graduating... from the community college. Although Im "walking" at graduation, I still have to finish my externship. So Im not really finished. But its nice to have the done feeling. Doing the externship isn't going to be a big deal... so Im getting there. I will finish with an Associates in Applied Science; Medical Assistant. It will be nice to finish up and say that I got something out of my experience at community college. I know people that have been going to a community college for YEARS! I mean years....I have been there 3 years, and these people have been going for more then 5. And I will tell you that it isn't because they work full time and can only take one class a semester. They have been attending CC for such a long time because they really don't give a crap and fail classes, dont show up to class and so on and so forth. Whatever. Im just glad Im almost done.
So my day tomorrow will consist of getting my car fixed, helping my mom, having dinner with family and then walking at graduation. :)
