I swear I have been on the go non-stop the past few weeks. Between being sick, exams, quizzes, studying, and working, I haven't had time to really catch my breath.

I hate having a cold, or whatever this is...
I started not feeling so well Monday night.... Scratchy throat, runny/stuffy nose, upset stomach, chills... you know, the WORKS!
I went to work yesterday thinking that maybe if I got up and started to move around I would feel better, WRONG! I didnt eat all day until I had a couple bites of dinner.
So I have stayed home all day and I am going to try to go to class tonight. I am feeling a little better then I was this morning. Hopefully, I am on the mend and whatever I had is gone and stays gone!
I opened a few gifts! My parents gave me a bottle of tequila and a cocktail bible! ha! ha! Which will come in handy one of these days....
After dinner, Bobby and I met some friends at the Hunt Club and then we went to a bar called the Crazy Cowboy...
So I like to dance...a lot! Haha!!
I love Brian's facial expression in this picture..and mine!

Bobby was there, I swear!!! He was my DD and the photographer! He took really good care of me, brought me home, gave me some Tylenol, water and a garbage can...ha! He made sure I was in bed and that I was okay before he left. Thanks again babe!
It was a terrific night!
I'm getting excited! Its almost the weekend and that means it is almost my birthday!!!
A couple days ago I found a perfect 21st birthday shirt!
Anyone have some good recommendations for turning 21? Ha!
Have a Happy Thursday!
Lately I have been watching a show on TLC called
Jon and Kate Plus 8.
Its addicting!
I'm not sure why exactly I like the show. I just seem to find it interesting.
Its about a couple (Jon and Kate) that had problems becoming pregnant, and starting using fertility drugs. They had twin girls, and a few years later they wanted to have another baby. Once again they used fertility drugs and ended up having 6 instead of the 1. YIKES. .
The show has episodes about their every day lives.
I don't have kids, but I still find myself watching this show. The kids... are all so different and have their own personality, and I cannot believe how these 2 people can manage 8 kids!!! That is life changing!
Recently there were 2 episodes about a trip to a zoo and a trip to Disney land..... OMG! How hard that would be to take 8 little kids to places like that. Oooh, something else, think about: how many paper plates the must go through, and the laundry...... Its crazy to think about.
So sometime when you have nothing to watch on TV, check to see if Jon and Kate plus 8 is on, and check out the show.
If you already watch the show, what do you think/feel about it?
Oh my! What a busy couple of days! I need to play some catch up to update everybody!!!
Well first of all, house sitting is going well. The pets are good, and everything is going well at the house. I must admit...house sitting makes me think about getting an apartment and being on my own. Don't get me wrong...I like living at home, and I love my parents...I guess its all about the freedom. Now Im not saying I have no freedom at home, I do. Maybe Independence is a better word. But anyway its going well.
On Saturday I left bright at early and drove an hour+ to Madonna University. It was nice, small and I must say it was easy to get to. The program for nursing sounds good. I could get a major in nursing and a minor in hospice. That might be a good thing to have. Its expensive though...its a private catholic university, so what else would you expect? Something to think about I guess. I still have a few other place to look at.
After checking out Madonna, I went and hung out with Bobby for a while. Madonna is about 25 minutes away from Wayne State. So that would be convenient... We just kind hung out for a while, then we went and had an early dinner at Chili's. I had fajitas...YUMMY!
Today I worked. Our unit had 4 patients.....not complaining. Some is better then none, that's for sure. There's rumors that the ortho surgeon is going to be changing his surgery days. At the moment he does all his inpatient surgeries on Monday and Tuesday. Most of those patient are leaving the hospital by Thursday or Friday. So the weekends are very SLOW. Well because of the slow weekends, he is thinking about doing surgery on Monday and Thursday instead. Which wouldn't be too bad. It would make the week a little bit more consistent.
Anyway I am rambling...sorry!
Tomorrow, I am gonna sleep in! ( But not too late! :) )
Did I mention that my birthday is about 5 days away???
Good night!
Tonight is the first night that I am house sitting for Jade and Leslie. They have a cat, Kramer and a dog, Nellie. I am going to be taking care of them all week.
Jade and Leslie have landed in Florida and I have been at their house for a couple of hours.
So far, so good.
The Collins got new carpet today. And I must say it looks awesome! I love it! I think their pets love it too. They are spread out on the carpet, enjoying! Its amazing how carpet has changed their house.
I will keep you updated on how the week goes...
As for my classes this semester...I think its going to be interesting. The class I had today was very LONG! It goes from 9 - 2:30 with a half an hour lunch break. YIKES!! Hopefully once the class gets going, it will be more interesting. This week all my classes have just been going over the "rules, and policies." Very exciting, let me tell ya!
Well have a great night!
My dentist appointment was at 10:10. One of the reasons I really like the dentist I go to, is they get you right in. No waiting. Which is good. Who wants to sit and wait and get even more nervous??? NOT ME! So I walked in, said Hello and before I knew it I was sitting in "the chair." My stomach was churning. An hour later I was leaving. Thank God it was only a SMALL cavity! Its now 4:30 and I can finally feel my tongue! My mouth hurts. Not really where the drilling occurred, but more where he gave me the shots to numb my mouth. OUCH!!!
So when I got home, I laid on the couch and watch a movie. James Bond 007. I ended up falling asleep. I tried talking to Bobby when he called, but I felt like everything I said was slurred. I tried to eat some rice, ended up missing my mouth and half of it was on my shirt! hahaha.
A little while later, I went to the school to have my password fixed and to by a $160.00 book! YIKES! Why the hell are those books sooo expensive??? I hope I get some good use out it.
I came home and showered. I felt like I smelled like the dentist. I bet no one else thought that if they caught a whiff (s/p) of me, but I could smell it.....so now I am fresh and clean.
Tonight I need to start packing. Where am I going you might be asking yourself... ???
Well nowhere tropical, or exotic. I am going to be house sitting for Jade and Leslie while they are in Florida (Not that I am jealous or anything!) I will start staying over there on Thursday.
Well that's it for now. I think I'm going to read for a bit.
( Yes Rocky, I am reading!!! Bout' time huh?)
Soo when was the last time you were able to roll your window down and now freeze during the month of January in Michigan??? The temperature today was near 60*. I didn't even wear a coat today!!!Very Crazy!!!
I have been applying to some universities....
Oakland University
Madonna University
and
Schoolcraft
to name a few.
Tomorrow I am going to send my transcripts out. What a tasks!
Saturday ... I am going to Madonna for a tour and to learn about their nursing program. We'll see how it goes. I'll be sure to let you know!
Nothing too crazy/exciting going on.
Classes start back up this week.
Thursday I am going to start house sitting for Jade and Leslie for a week.
And TOMORROW I have a dentist appointment...... I am dreading it. I have to get a filling. I HATE the dentist, which I probably have mentioned before. Do you have any fillings or hate, I mean dislike the dentist?? Just curious.
Well Im off to watch October Road, one of my new faves!!
Its 2008.....another year has come and gone...
So I have some "goals" for this year.
