Life's Moments

Oh my! What a busy couple of days! I need to play some catch up to update everybody!!!

Well first of all, house sitting is going well. The pets are good, and everything is going well at the house. I must admit...house sitting makes me think about getting an apartment and being on my own. Don't get me wrong...I like living at home, and I love my parents...I guess its all about the freedom. Now Im not saying I have no freedom at home, I do. Maybe Independence is a better word. But anyway its going well.

On Saturday I left bright at early and drove an hour+ to Madonna University. It was nice, small and I must say it was easy to get to. The program for nursing sounds good. I could get a major in nursing and a minor in hospice. That might be a good thing to have. Its expensive though...its a private catholic university, so what else would you expect? Something to think about I guess. I still have a few other place to look at.

After checking out Madonna, I went and hung out with Bobby for a while. Madonna is about 25 minutes away from Wayne State. So that would be convenient... We just kind hung out for a while, then we went and had an early dinner at Chili's. I had fajitas...YUMMY!

Today I worked. Our unit had 4 patients.....not complaining. Some is better then none, that's for sure. There's rumors that the ortho surgeon is going to be changing his surgery days. At the moment he does all his inpatient surgeries on Monday and Tuesday. Most of those patient are leaving the hospital by Thursday or Friday. So the weekends are very SLOW. Well because of the slow weekends, he is thinking about doing surgery on Monday and Thursday instead. Which wouldn't be too bad. It would make the week a little bit more consistent.

Anyway I am rambling...sorry!

Tomorrow, I am gonna sleep in! ( But not too late! :) )

Did I mention that my birthday is about 5 days away???
