Tonight has been great! I have done nothing! I worked today at the hospital, came home. Took a nap for about an hour and a half. Work up, ate dinner and now I am just relaxing. I decided not to go out or do anything tonight.
This week has just been so busy that I just want to stay home and relax. Let me tell ya, it has been soooooooooo nice!!!

Tomorrow I am driving to Detroit. Bobby and I are going to go Christmas shopping .... It should be fun. I LOVE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING! Something about the mall being all decorated, Santa being there, and shopping for people you love. Im kinda excited to go. Maybe Bobby will even get his picture taken with Santa and Me!!!

As for Sunday I am going to be glued to my books. All my finals for this semester are on Monday and Tuesday. BUT I have been really good and I have been studying all week for finals...well the last few weeks really.

Do you have anything going on this weekend???

I have decided that after Christmas I am no longer going to be working at Sylvan Learning Center (SLC). Its just been too much and I have been feeling over whelmed lately. The classes that I am taking next semester won't really allow me work there anymore. Plus the hours are different (3-7:30) and I just feel like I can't get anything done, either before I go in because I have class until noon. I come home, eat lunch and get ready for work then leave. And when I get out at 7:30 I don't feel like doing anything except eating dinner because I'm starving and then getting things done for school.

Its not that its a bad place to work. The job itself is not hard its just kinda boring and let me tell ya, those 4 hours that I am there, just drag. So I told my boss that I would stay until Christmas unless she found someone before that to replace me.

Right now I work there on Tuesday and Thursdays and every other Saturday. The problem is that I work at the hospital on Thursday so I have to rush from the hospital to SLC and it is just not worth it. I have to pretty much haul ass to get there and I hate that! So only a few more weeks, then I will be done. I honestly hope that they find someone to replace me soon, so I dont even have to worry about it anymore. Because let me tell ya, I have been worrying about it....

I think I will be much happier next semester. I am going to be able to work better hours at the hospital. Here what Winter semester is looking like so far:

Monday :
Work at the hospital 7-3:30.
Class from 7-9

Tuesday:
Hospital 7- 3:30

Wednesday:
Hospital 7-3:30
Class 6-9

Thursday:
Class 9-3

Friday:
Class 9-11:30
Watch Reyna 12-5

I think that sounds pretty darn good!
So I am very excited for next semester to start!

That was the sound I heard today.

I had a dentist appointment. I hate the dentist, I have horror stories from a few years back, which I will not even start to go into. The point is, I am very fearful of the dentist. I always have been.

So have you ever been getting your teeth cleaned and the hygienist just keeps poking around, and then starts to polish you teeth and then asks questions that require more then a yes or no answer??? That really bothers me!

HELLO, you hands are in my mouth, you are cleaning my teeth, how do you expect me to answer such a question! I swear, next time I am taking something to listen to, maybe then she won't ask so many questions.

For example:
" How is school going? Aren't you about done?"
"What do you think of this weather we are having?"
" Do you have any questions or problems concerning your teeth?" ( This is a good question, but not with your fingers in my mouth!)

Sooo I have to go back.
Yah that's right, I am starting to get a cavity. :( Way in the back on a molar that has a deeper groove then the rest of my teeth. BUmmer!! ):

I am happy that it was caught early, but I hate the thought of having to go back so soon!
Every 6 months is good with me! I can handle that.

Sooo I go back on December 10th. I'll let you know how it goes!

Happy Birthday Rocky!!!!!

I have been slacking BIG time in blogging!

I don't know why... I guess I just feel like I don't have anything to talk about. Sometime I do not understand how people can have HUGE posts that are sooo long....how do they have so much to talk about??? I guess I am just going to do what I can.

Well today my mom and I decorated for Christmas. I know it seems kinda early. But my mom works weekends as a Director at our Church, and she has Thanksgiving weekend off and that is when we have always put up the decorations.

I even took pictures of our tree!!!

Check out all those presents under the tree already!!!
My mom spent Yesterday wrapping....
Haha. She is a shopper that buys in advance!!!
Way to go Mom!!

I'm a little late .... I know.

I had a very nice Thanksgiving...

Bobby and I drove to Bloomfield to see my family. We stayed for a little while, then left to go back to his parents house for dinner. Minus the driving, the day was great!

Here's a few pictures, and what do ya know...I'm not in any of them!

My cousins Bob and Tim with Bobby.
They all play hockey together on Friday nights.

Bobby and my Mom.

Rocky with Mr. C.

Bobby and Uncle Dave.
It was great to spend the day with family. Sometimes I don't know where I would be without my family. Not only my family, but Bobby's family too. Over the 2+ years that I have been with Bobby, his family has become my family as well.
I have lots to be thankful for...
My Health
My parents
My family
Friends
The House I live in
Having food everyday
Being loved and being able to love.
And sooo much more.

Sooo I haven't been posting lately. I just have not felt like it. It seems like too much work to get online, and think of something "meaningful" to type/talk about. So this weekend...I dont even know where to begin... I work at the hospital on Friday and then Jeanette and I went to a hockey game in Troy to watch Bobby play. Sorry, no pictures. I totally forgot. Saturday I worked at sylvan in the morning and then hung out with Bobby and his family and relaxed. On Sunday Lisa made a big Mexican dinner which consisted of Mole, Beans and Sopa. It was soo good, thanks again Lisa!
Today, I had class, went over to Leslie and Jade's and watch Reyna while Leslie went to work. Reyna was very happy today....giggly, smiley, and just lots of fun. I took a couple pictures on Leslie's camera and she put them on her blog, so check them out! Afterwards, I went to another class...yay! And now I am getting ready to get out all my books out to study for a test I have tomorrow.

I haven't been working out lately. I really need to. I am going to get back in the habit tomorrow. After work at Sylvan I am gonna go to the gym! Planet fitness got some new equipment, so Im kinda excited to go and give it a try. That sounds funny, but I mean it. haha.

Well this post is very random, but I wanted to at least post something!

Here in Michigan, its cold, rainy, cloudy and windy!
YUCK!
I hate days like this. All I want to do is lay around and get nothing done! Its now 11:30, I just started to get ready for the day. How sad. I have showered, dressed and that's about it.
I really need to do laundry, study, type some papers, and clean. I am just having a hard time getting motivated. Wish me luck!

More to come later.

  • Today Lisa, Jeanette, and I drove to Wayne State to Visit Bobby. We got there, roamed around campus and then got some dinner. It was very nice to see Bobby in the middle of the week. Something rare.
  • Tomorrow I am spending the day doing homework. . . .I know, very exciting. I have to finish a Law and Ethics paper, Due Monday. Start to write a paper for my imaging class which is due on December 3rd. I also have to study for 2 tests, and get some typing done for my computer class...BUSY! At 7:30 I am meeting a girl I work with, Kate at Applebee's for dinner.
  • Friday I am working at the hospital and then Jeanette and I are driving to Troy to watch Bobby play hockey at 9 p.m.

I bite my nails either when I get bored or nervous.

A lot of times I find that I will bite them in class when I get bored or if I have test.
Its like an addiction. Sad I know!

I have been trying really hard to stop. And I haven't bitten my nails it a couple weeks now!

Im kinda proud of myself. Now, to everyone out there, you are probably thinking "Whats the big deal?" Well Its a kind of accomplishment!

I just thought I would share that with you tonight!!!

  • Teething babies...never take naps!!!
  • If you are going to mail something through the U.S. Postal Service, mail it really early! I mean weeks early!
  • Waiting until the last minute to get something done, makes life hard. Don't procrastinate.
  • Michigan weather...today its 60, tomorrow its 30 and snowing.

Me, Kelly, and Robin...Girls night out!

Uncle Bobby with Reyna.

Reyna playing!

My Cookie Factory!

Pretty Flowers I took over to Mrs. C's.

I promise to post pictures soon!
Im sooo tired, I am ready to go to bed.
I have been busy this weekend. Bobby's parents came home and his Aunt is here for the week.
Plus I have been writing a paper that is due Monday and lots of other homework and stuff like that.
I haven't forgotten! Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to post something decent!

I have picturs from this week...but I can't load them on the computer I am using...

SO I will be posting some pictures Sunday.

...Just something to look forward to....

What a busy week! I am sooo happy that tomorrow I can just lay back and relax.
I really do have a busy week...
and sometimes I am glad to be busy...if I wasn't busy...I don't know what I would do ...I would have soo much free time.
Between Class, Work, homework, trying to stay fit, hanging out with friends, being with Bobby...there is just not enough time.

But anyway...

Tonight has been low key. I am tired! I woke up the last 2 days at 5am (I worked at the hospital.) Normally I would get up later, but because Im house sitting, I wanted to give myself time to get their dog Champ out and everything. I hate to be rushed in the morning.

Nothing really big planned this weekend. Bobby's parents come home tomorrow, with Aunt Jeanette! I am very excited to see her! Bobby will be home too! And I have to study, and get some papers done...yay!

But otherwise I am just planning on taking it easy!
Maybe I'll even watch a little football!

Got anything good planned for your weekend?

Getting ready to watch Grey's!!!
I love that its back on! I totally look forward to Thursday night!

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve....

the holiday's are coming!
Are you ready?
Im not!
Seriously, the holiday's are right around the corner.
Its always SO busy. I wish that they were a little more relaxed.
I love getting together with family and friends, all the people I love.
But between my family and Bobby's...things get crazy!

So far for Thanksgiving... Bobby and I are going to go for appetizers at my cousin's house (80 miles away...) and then we are going to come back to Bobby's to have dinner with his family.
It may not sound busy, but It is! We leave, drive 80 some miles, visit with my family, have appetizers, get in the car, drive 80 some miles back, to have dinner with Bobby's family. But in the end its all worth it!
Sometime I wish we could have one HUGH thanksgiving meal altogether! But it really doesn't work that way, does it?
What do you do for thanksgiving? Do you have to split the day between families?

All afternoon, I spent my time making cookies.
I took pictures, But I can't load them on the computer where Im staying.
I will post pictures later on, and you will see how many cookies I made!
You will be amazed!

Its cold outside! There was snow this morning. But now its rainy. YUCK! And its windy. Very windy. Winter is coming.. . . . . I don't really mind the snow. I just do not like the transition from summer to winter. The weather is always so crappy!

I am sooooo tired today! I am ready for bed.

I think I am going to hit the hay soon. Its been a busy day.
I had class, walked Champ, took flowers to Mrs. C. for Rocky and Lisa, went to work, came home and made dinner...ate, did the dishes, and now I am pooped!

Tomorrow I am going to relax . . . ALL DAY! What a treat!

I am house sitting for Bobby's parents ...I think I mentioned that in a previous post..???

Well anyway I am still here. .. . .just in case you were wondering.

The first night was kinda rough. Their cat Lucy, woke me up a ton! She was sleeping on the bed, and then I swear just got a burst of energy and started to walk all over my head and just would not leave me alone. I ended up booting her out of the room and closing the door.

Other then that...things are going well.
Champ misses his Mama and Dad. (Just in case they are reading! :) )

Day 2, so far, so good.

What a relaxing day.

I helped Bobby with Laundry.

Watched Football.

Took a nap.

Went for a walk.

Made dinner.

Relaxed!

Now I am going to study.

This week I am staying over at Bobby's parents house while they are in Florida.

Its just me, Champ (dog) and Lucy (cat) all week.

We'll see how the first night goes.

So I have been working out and toning up.
I can see a difference. My jeans are pretty loose. I mean, if I didn't wear a belt, I would have a hard time keeping them up.
That's another thing...my belt is just about too big. It is on the tightest notch!!!
I'm gonna have to get a new belt!
The other day I was so proud of myself, I ran a mile in 8:30.
That was the first time I had EVER done that! I was pumped.
I wanted to do it again! Ha!
So I am gonna keep up with working out, I can defiantly see that results!!

So I worked today..well most of the week, between Sylvan and the Hospital.

So tonight, I am going out to have some fun!

My new friend Kelly and I met in a couple of our Medical Assistanting classes. Well we have been working out together and studying together and we've hung out a time or two. Well we're going up to Lansing tonight with her cousin Robin and another girl from our class, Maria.
It should be fun.

Im not sure what were going to be doing. but I guess it really doesn't matter!

Today's Topic: Babies Trick-or-treating.
Since Wednesday was Halloween, and all, I started thinking about how many babies I saw out and about. There were quite a few...

I don't have any kids, so maybe I am way off when I say : Why the hell do people take little babies door to door on Halloween??? Mommy and Daddy want some candy, that is the answer I have come up with.

A few ladies and I at work were talking about this, its one thing to dress up a baby and go to Grandma's house. Its another to walk around a neighborhood, going door to door saying trick-or-treat, for a baby.

For example:
I think what Leslie and Jade did was perfectly fine. They dressed Reyna up, took her to both grandparent's houses, and to a couple close family friends houses. They didn't walk her all around the block collecting candy. She can't even eat it anyway! Yah, they got a few goodies, but it wasn't an entire pillowcase full.

I asked my mom what she did when I was a baby. Her reply was that I didn't go until I was in preschool . I personally think that is an appropriate time to start the trick-or-treating tradition.

If you are one of those parents that took your baby house to house, thats cool, do what you want. I'm not trying to knock you down, just stating my opinion.

How old were you when you started to participate in trick-or-treating?

What age is the right age?

If you have kids, when did they start?

Any feeling about parents that take their babies trick-or-treating door to door?

Im gonna give it a try.

November is National Blog Posting Month after all...

So you hopefully will be seeing a post everyday!
