Just thought I would let everyone know that I went to the gym tonight...

I feel VERY refreshed!

I plan on going again tomorrow...

Tomorrow's focus :

Butt and Legs.

Ok so in the shower tonight...I started to think...

"Dove makes a lot of different products."

Strange thought I know. But seriously, think about it!

Hair Products
Body Wash
Facial products
Lotions
Skin Care

and then there's....

Ice cream bars
chocolate
and other goodies...

Are they all from the same brand ?? Or are there 2 different DOVE cooperation's?
This thought made me chuckle in the shower.

Dial doesn't make potato chips.

Zest doesn't make candy.

I know, very random but just a thought...

HAHA, okay this makes me laugh...

Saturday Night, Bobby and I made dinner, and went to DQ and got ice cream. We got a call from our friend Tom...they needed help, Ashley is moving in to a new apartment and they couldn't fit the couch inside...so they needed help with plan B.

Ashley's new place in on the 3rd floor, and so the guys wanted to get a ladder, and tie a rope around the couch and pull is up and lift it over the balcony rail....

<---- this is a picture of the guys going over plan B

All I could think of was, " THIS IS GONNA BE BAD......"

So Tom, Dan, and Bobby tried to get the couch through the door one last time...

Did the couch finally get through the doorway????
HECK NO IT DIDN'T!
So by midnight we had given up and just hung out for a bit at Ashley's new place.
What a way to spend a Saturday night!

Once again I didn't have to work....
I am starting to think of getting a second fill in job. Something that I can do in the evening, part time. Maybe like waitress or something, anyone have any good ideas>????
So since I didn't have to work, I cleaned the house a little bit and I have just been kickin' back.
Its so nice outside once again today that I am debating on taking Cooper to the park, that might be nice.
I need to study, pharmacology and A&P...so sooner or later I am going to have to break down and do that...whoo hooo!
And I also realized today that I need a haircut...
Sorry for the random post, just thought I would share what I was thinking about...

IT'S SOOOOOO FREAKING' NICE OUT, GO OUT AND ENJOY IT!!!

I AM!

Today, I was on-call for work until 1pm. Which means that I hang out at home or have my cell phone with me at all times in case I need to go into work. Normally, if no one has called by 11 or so, I am off the hook. Mornings at the hospital are the worst part of the day, just because everyone gets washed up and needs pain meds. and stuff like that... SO I didn't get called in, and I pretty much get paid for sleeping in....which isn't too bad of a deal. So this morning, I slept in, did some Pilate's(sp?) instead of going to the gym, took a nice long shower, cuddled with Cooper and relaxed And now I am starting to get antsy...I am ready to get out of the house and enjoy the rest of my afternoon.
So here's my plan so far ...
Stop at Meijer's for something to tie Cooper outside each day for a little while. I want to get one of those things ( I'm not sure what they're called) that you stick in to the ground and get a tie-out leash so he can be outside while I shower and whatnot.
I need to stop at Walgreen's to pick up a script.
And then I'm going to go over to Bobby's where we might be going out with Tom and Ashley tonight...

Hope that everyone has a GREAT Saturday!
Don't forget to leave a comment! :)

Okay, so I had today off...more like I was on-call but never got called in. I had the choice to either work last night or today, and I worked last night... thinking that Bobby and I could just be together today. Its rare that we get a day where we don't HAVE to do anything...no school work, no real plans, we can just spend the day as we want and do whatever we feel like together. I was looking forward to it...
Sooo last night when we had talked, I was under the impression that we were going to spend the day together.
Around noon today I call him, no answer....I called an hour later, thinking he was walking his dog champ or something... and he was with Tom picking out paint....
Now I probably shouldn't have got upset and frustrated. But I thought that we were going to spend today together.... and yes, all men need their "guy time" but I was just flat out annoyed. Here I was, all ready to go..meaning I curled my hair, and put makeup on and tried to look cute and everything when it turns out that I was blown off for Tom.
So here it is almost 4:30, and I still haven't heard from him...
PLUS, I work the weekend, which translates into " I'm not going to stay out late tonight because I have to get up at 5am. " Then during the week, a lot of free time that we have really isn't free time, it is occupied with school work.
So I am just feeling a little frustrated and annoyed at the moment...
Thanks for letting me vent!

last night...for a couple reasons, let me explain.
I worked out Wednesday and Thursday morning, and I have been very very extremely sore! Holy Cow!!! My body just hurts. I am hoping that the more I do it, the less I will hurt. It even hurts to laugh. So I am taking today off from the gym and I am planning on going sometime tomorrow night, after work.
I few nights ago, Cooper peed on my floor during the night. I had just been putting him on his leash, which was tied around my bedpost, so he couldn't go too far, but still had a little freedom to move during the night...well because of this peeing incidence, I put him in his kennel for the first time in a loooong time last night. I felt really bad. He whined some, and I have been using a squirt bottle for when he barks or whines, so I gave him a little squirt and he finally settled down and was quiet the rest of the night. Then around 7:30, his normal time to wake up, he started to whine a little cause he needed to go out. So I think that I will be putting him in his kennel for a while at night. But I still felt bad! So this morning he was very cuddly...and very sweet.

Fitness Girl! Hahaha! So I joined Planet Fitness.
Lately I have just been feeling like I need to workout, but I cannot get motivated at home... So I decided to do something for myself and joined the gym. Tonight was my first night of working out. Hopefully I am going to sick with it and do it at least 4/5 times a week...that's my goal.
I'm not sore or anything tonight, BUT I bet I will be tomorrow! I jogged 2.5 miles and lifted lots of weights. We shall see...wish me LOTS of luck!

Got a sec??? Leave me a comment...
Let's get to know each other!

A little update:
Today I have been pretty darn busy, let me tell ya! I had anatomy class, and today we had an exam. Yippee! Today marks the halfway point for exams in that class. There's a total of 6 exams and today was the 3rd...Thank God! Although I am doing pretty well on the exams!
After class, I took some clothes to Clothing Carousel (a resale shop) and came home. To continue my afternoon, I had lunch (chicken noodle soup), cleaned all of my bedding, I am in the middle of doing my laundry from the last 2 weeks and I even cleaned my fan today. Cleaning a fan is one of those jobs that you look at it and think " I'll do that tomorrow." But finally it just starts to look so dirty to you that you just do it. Haha.
Now I need to work on my nutrition class and pharmacology class too. I have quizzes in both classes to do and some other homework too... PLUS I have a big project that I really should get started on ... we'll see how that goes. ;)
Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Last night in the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, Bobby and I decided that instead of going to East Lansing, that we would stay in Jackson and hang out with a couple of our friends that we haven't seen in a while.

Brian came home from Grand Rapids, and Tom and Ashley were able to come and hang out.

We had a pretty good time just hanging out. We watched basketball, and then went over to Ashley's apartment and just chilled. It was a pretty fun, laid back, relaxing night.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Soo here's the scoop....
Yesterday I worked during the day at the hospital.... well I had just gotten a patient back from surgery and he was doing well, but he was in pain. A nurse Lindsey gave him some Demerol ( a narcotic) to ease his pain. Well, I was in there taking his vital signs and talking with him and he was joking around like he had been before surgery.
Well he was getting sleepy...and then wasn't really breathing well. While I was taking his Vital signs, his oxygen stats were dropping, I mean seriously dropping, he was down to the low 40's. What we like to see is anything about 90% ...
Okay, picture this....the wife is in there, I'm trying to wake him up to take a breath...and Jeanette (another aide) walks in to check on things... and I try to very VERY calmly say, " Go get his nurse please..." and I give her a look that says NOW!!! So she runs down the hall to find someone, anyone! Meanwhile I'm in the room, rubbing his chest trying to get him to wake up and take a breath, and he is almost completely unresponsive....
Jamie (nurse) walks in and I tell her whats going on, she gets the wife to the waiting room and runs to get Narcan ( which is a drug that is an antagonist to the narcotic) Lindsey comes in to see what going on and I say, " Linds, he is barley breathing, get the crash cart...hurry" so finally after the narcan is given he start to come around...
Let me tell you...my adrenalin was pumping so fast and so hard... I was burning up when I walked out of that room and had to, HAD TO get outside for air. I get outside and I felt so sick to my stomach that I threw up...
The patient was fine.
And On the drive home, all I could think was that if I hadn't been in there at that moment, he would have died. Its kinda cool and scary all at the same time to know that. And to know that every move you make that person is depending on you to get them through.
What a day...let me tell ya.

I'm kinda stuck...meaning I'm unsure about what I am going to be doing in the upcoming summer/fall. I have some choices to make. I am totally clueless as to what I should do.

Here's the dilemma :

Bobby is going to probably be going to Grand Valley next fall, which is great! I'm really happy for him. Plus he needs to move on with his schooling. Whereas I am almost at a stand still with nursing. I missed the deadline for the RN application... I really wasn't being irresponsible or stupid, I honestly thought it was later then March 1, and lost track of time...my bad. I thought about getting a Associates in Medical Assisting, I only have a year left to get that, or I could apply for the LPN program in Oct. and start March of 08', I am only a few classes shy from that.

I am 75% sure that I want to go into nursing..... the other 25% well, that's one part that I'm not really sure about. But anyway, I go to Jackson Community College and I could go there next fall and take some classes.
Last week I went with Bobby to Grand Rapids to look at GVSU, and I really like it there. And if we Both went there then we could live together and wouldn't have to deal with the distance part of our relationship. PLUS our rent would be cheaper!!!
BUT I probably wouldn't go to GVSU
1) its expensive
2) I could get my nursing degree from a Community College.

So here's my options ....

A) Stay in Jackson, live with my parents and go to JCC and get my nursing. Continue to work at Chelsea Hospital. And then my life is going to consist of School and Work basically.

B) Stay in Jackson, get my own place, go to JCC, continue working at CCH, and have my life be School, work, and being more independent.

C) Move to GR with Bobby, live together, Go to a community college there, Find a new place to work. And my life would consist of Bobby, School, and working and getting to be more independent.

Okay....

Well I don't want to move out/away for that matter for the wrong reasons.

A lot of my friends go to Universities so I would be here all alone for the most part.

And something that keeps crossing my mind is how things are going to work out with Bobby if we live together...???
Its Scary!
I just feel stuck in a rut. I'm really unsure of what to do...so if anyone has some input, leave me a comment and let me know. I could use some help!

What a great day its been!!!! The sunshine has been out all day long, its warm, near 70 degrees and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

I went to pharmacology class, took my test and that went really well. We had lecture for a little while then got out EARLY! YIPPEE! I called up Bobby and we decided that we would get subway for lunch and go to the park with Cooper. So since I had some free time, I ran home and got the puppy and we met Bobby at the school.

We went to Cascade Park, ate our subway at a picnic table then walked around the park with Cooper, we walked almost 4 miles!!! Then we went back to the school because Bobby had lab at 2:30, But I could have stayed at the park with him for the entire day! It is just absolutely gorgeous today!!!

Afterwards, I left the school and made a few stops. I went to St. Vincent's and dropped off some clothes that I just don't ever wear. (During break I went through all my dressers and my closet. I found a good load of things that I didn't need/want anymore! I planned on making a "quick" trip to Target...Yea Right!!! Lol! I got Cooper one of those KONG toys and he LOVES it!!!

So then I came home and have been enjoying the rest of the afternoon. I decided that I would play around with my new camera, I'm still kinda unsure of all its possibilities.
So I played with it and took a few pictures, nothing for the books but still kinda fun.

Check out that muddy water in the yard!! YUCK!

Don't be shy!!!
Leave me comments!

I would love to hear from people that read my blog! I might not really even know some of you, and I would love to get to know you!
So please if you have a free minute, leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Thanks! :)

Sooo today was the first day back from spring break... even though I really didn't go anywhere like Florida or Mexico, I truly enjoyed the week just the same. I would have loved to have some warmer weather, but I still had a nice week... Today my class felt like it was never going to end!! I swear the 2.5 hours of lecture felt like 5! YIKES! Hopefully tomorrow goes a lot better!

I never really blogged about the trip to Grand Rapids...
Bobby and I had a really fun time going there. Its about 120 miles from Jackson. I got to Bobby's (B) around 11ish and we made lunch and left his house somewhere around noon. We took my car, the good ol' sunfire and started our little day trip. We went to Allendale first to check out Grand Valley. I had never really seen it, and what people say is true, it is in the middle of a corn field...NO JOKE! So we go to GVSU around 2ish and drove around the campus and went into the student services building to pee. Then we drove around this little bitty farming town to look at appartments and such and there really wasn't a whole lot! After looking around, we met up with Brian, who lives in Grand Rapids with his Sister and her family. Brian took B and I to downtown GR and showed us the downtown campus, which was really nice, and I liked that part of GVSU the best. I think I just like the downtown life. There seems like there is always something to do and everything is close by, no driving 25 minutes to get to a store! lol. We went to dinner at Famous Dave's and It was delicious! We all got ribs ( its what they are known for!) and we had a great time just hanging out.
A little afterwards B and I made our way back to J-town. We both had a nice time looking around and seeing Brian.

Where is the sun today?? It's just a cloudy day. I so enjoyed having the sun out all day long yesterday. And today, no sunshine what so ever. Bummer! Where the heck did the feeling of spring go??? I have the fever for spring and summer. I cannot wait. Hopefully tomorrow with be a better day!!!
There are sooooo many things that I want to do this summer ...

  • Go to Cedar point
  • Take a trip with with the Collin's to Ludington
  • I wanna do some fishing
  • I would love to go the zoo...
  • Take a trip to Florida and Iowa
  • Pay a visit to Disney World and Universal
  • Go to the beach

Right there is a pretty good list ...I think. I am ready to be able to go outside and just get busy! I get sooooo sick of sitting around in the house, I start to get cabin fever I swear!

Today, I took a trip to Westland with Bobby, Rocky, Lisa, Leslie and of course Reyna. We went to a furniture store because Rocky and Lisa are looking for an armour (s/p??), and they didn't find one...not one single person working there even came up to any of us and asked if we needed help or even said hello. So we ditched that place ASAP and Rocky and Lisa are going to look elsewhere. As we were driving around, I got to see where the Feister's lived before they moved to Jackson. I thought that was really neat. After that, we stopped over at Rocky's cousins house, Dick and Dee. They are really nice people. I have met them before, but only a couple of times. Leslie gave her cousin Kristin a ring and she stopped by too! It was great getting to see her!

Afterwards, we made a pit stop at Tim Hortans then made the trip back to the Feister's. I got to hold Rey for a bit then Leslie hit the road back to her house...
Look at that face!!!
I just love this little girl!

It was a wonderful, beautiful day outside today!!! I loved it! It wasn't cold, yet it wasn't really warm...it felt great! I only wore a light sweater and a down vest, and I was perfect. Before the sun went down completely, which wasn't until AFTER 7:30, Bobby and I went for a walk around the block, and it felt great!
The rest of my night has been spent with Bobby, we played a card game, looked some things up for school and just hung out. Today was a very relaxing Sunday!

Tomorrow, I must return to "real life" and go back to school! BLAH! Im not too excited about going back. BUT I only have 8 weeks left before this semester is over. THANK GOD! The winter semester always seems to drag ...I think its because I am excited for summer time!

I've been doing a lot of thinking about what Im going to do for school next fall. Im kinda undecided still. Im not sure if I want to stay at JCC and take some more classes, or if I want to go elsewhere. Im feeling stuck in a rut....

Last night Bobby and I went to the Collin's house and babysat Reyna while Leslie and Jade went out to dinner and made a few stops. We had a really good night. Reyna did great! She really wasn't too fussy.
When we got there, Les told me that she hadn't pooped all day...so I was preparing myself for something big...
Well around 8 when I was feeding her, she had a huge blowout....so Bobby and I gave her a bath. She didn't seem to mind one bit...except when it was time to get out...
After the first blowout she pooped 3 more times! Its like she holds it all day long, then every hour after 8 she poops!
Needless to say Uncle Bobby and Aunt Emilie had a nice evening with Reyna...

Yesterday, Bobby and I just felt like hanging out the house, we didn't want to do anything or go anywhere. But we made a quick trip to Meijer to pick up some serbert....

Here's what we made :

Later in the day, Lisa brought Rey to the house and we all just kinda hung out. Leslie went to get a manicure and pedicure...lucky girl! She deserves it!! BIG TIME!
Bobby and I are going to watch Rey later tonight so Leslie and Jade can go out and get dinner and get something things done! I'll post lots of pictures later!

Okay, back to today.... I haven't posted in a few days and I felt like I needed to catch up a little and post things that happened over the weekend... I hope you enjoy all the pictures!
Today I have been a busy little bee! I cleaned out all of my dressers! I went through EVERYTHING! Im going to give away the things that I dont ever wear and things that I no longer need! All the drawers look so neat and nice...(lets see how long that will last! :)

I took Cooper to the park today and we walked 1.8 miles! It was cold, but it felt good. I was happy that I took him. He really likes to go for car rides and I think he enjoyed the park as well!
That is really about it for my day. It took me a while to go through all my stuff, so now I have to figure out when Im going to drop it all off!
Tonight I think that Bobby and I are just going to lay low...maybe rent a movie or play games...we shall see.

Tomorrow we are going to Grand Rapids. We are going to look around the town, visit GVSU and see our friend Brian. It should be a great little mini trip! I'll be sure to take my camera with me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TARRA!!!

So Im a little behind, and now Im trying to play catch up ...can you tell???

As for Monday, Bobby and I did a little exploring. We took a drive over to Eaton Rapids and Charlotte. I had never been there, and wanted to see what it was like. So we went and had coffee, walked around and took in the sights. It was time well spent together!

Later that night we did some baking!! Actually Bobby did some baking!
Look at this Apple pie he made, completely from scratch!!!
It was sooooooo good!!!
Way to go babe!

Look at Bobby with Reyna…isn’t that just the sweetest picture???
I love it!

So Leslie and I have a couple of Yahoo’s around…can you guess who they are??
Jade and Bobby!
I thought we should take some pictures, what do they do…. Make faces!! Hahaha! The pictures turned out funny!
Take a peek:

Sunday the Feister's had a little get together with one of Rocky's good friends, and his daughter. It was really neat getting to meet them. Leslie, Jade and Rey came over too! Lisa made enchilada's and we ate till we just couldn't eat anymore! It was a great Sunday afternoon...here's a few pictures from the day...

I'm in the process of getting ready to leave the house and go to the Feister's. Today, they are having one of Rocky's closest friends over (with his two daughters that are a little older then me) for dinner. Lisa is making ENCHILADAS!! One of my favorites! Leslie, Jade and ofcourse Reyna are going to come over too...so I am going to take my camera and get lots of pictures! I will post more later!
Have a great Sunday!

Miss. Reyna is getting so Big! Its hard to believe that she has been here over a month! Her features are starting to be seen! She is such a cute little bug!! Yesterday, Leslie wasn't feeling well, so she brought the baby over to Rocky and Lisa's. When I got there, Lisa and Bobby were feeding her, and I just couldn't get over how much she has changed in the last two weeks!

I didn't hesitate to take a few pictures. And Bobby didn't either! He got a couple good shots while I was holding her!

Look at the yawn!!!

And Champ, who is such a good dog, loves Reyna too! He gets so worried when she cries...

But he finally relaxed once Reyna did too!
