I have some sad news to share. On Friday we put our 10 year old kitty Buddy to sleep. We were very sad, my mom is the saddest out of all of us. He hadn't been eating the last few days and on Friday Buddy was in the driveway panting and drooling uncontrollably. So my mom took him into the vet and they put him down. Buddy was a really nice cat. We got him from the vets office and he was in a kennel with his arms stretched through the bars and was reaching out for my mom and I. We took him home that day. He was a sweet playful kitten. He would lay on your lap but on his own terms. If you moved he was gone. ( More in his older years. ) Buddy was an indoor/outdoor cat. He would hunt mice and birds and he would bring them up to the deck, and leave nothing but their butts at the doorway. We will miss Buddy. He really was the best cat that we have ever had. He knew better then to go into the road, which was a blessing.

Now I wanna keep that little stay kitten, so does my mom. BUT I already pretty much gave her away. The timing was off. I know that if I talked to Kate ( the girl adopting the kitten) and told her what happen, she would say " Don't worry about it, its not a big deal. You guys keep her." But in my heart I know that isn't fair to her. She's had three days to think about getting this kitten and has probably bought all the goodies for her. So I am meeting her this afternoon with her new kitten.

Here's a few extra pictures of SK ( Stray Kitten) and Cooper.

I am so sorry, I cannot imagine how sad that would be :(
The pictures of Cooper and the stray cat are so cute, I'm sorry you have to give up the cat. But you are such a good person to keep your word.

I didn't read this until you had decided to keep the kitten. So sorry about Buddy. We have been there too so I know how hard it is. Both Chico and Mora are getting up there, and have been part of the family for 17yrs for Mora and 15 for Chico.
Thanks for all of the pictures and blogging. Really do love it. We will see you in August. Love Granna
