I got a nanny position!!

And there's a neat little story to go with it.. . . .

My cousin Mary Sue is friends with a woman who was looking for a nanny, her name is Tyra. Tyra went to high school with my sister Tarra. Small world huh???

Well Tyra and her hubby have 2 small kids, 3 and 17 months... and they are expecting another any day now. Tyra works out of her home and Im going to start going to their house the week of May 12th, in the mornings from 8 - noon, Monday thru Thursday.

Afterwards I will be going to my externship from 1-5 or there abouts. And then I will be working at the hospital on Fridays and every other weekend. Then after I am finished with my 12 weeks of externship I will spend a couple days of the week there for the entire day. The nice part is that all I have to worry about are the two older kids and we can do whatever, go to the zoo, the parks, whatever we feel like. The best part so far is that they live 4.8 miles from my house!!!!

Okay so I want some input ...please!

So who's got some nifty craft ideas for little kids...???

What are some "creative" snacks???

And for those of you in Michigan, where are some neat places to go with kids???

Kids N' Stuff in Albion is fun. The zoo in Battle Creek. There are a lot of fun parks in the area as well. :)

Congradulations Emmie on your new positon. You are so good with kids so I know it will well for you and the kids. Just remember for snacks for the kids to keep good nutrition, but you know that from your studies.
