Working out.
I haven't been.
Not really.
I would like to workout a lot more.
I think I would feel a lot better about myself.
Why haven't I been working out?
Well Its hard to go and stay motivated when you go by yourself.
That's the honest to God truth.
I have plenty of time to go...
If I plan to go by myself, there is ALWAYS tomorrow and I don't end up going.

Here's a few examples :
" ...Ahh I'm tired, I'll workout tomorrow."
"I'll go tomorrow for sure."
"Maybe tomorrow I will go instead."
"Nah, I'll go tomorrow, Im too tired."

See what I mean?
So, I found a workout buddy.
Kelly.
This way, If Kelly and I say we're gonna meet at 4, I HAVE to show up!
Kelly and I have 2 classes together this semester. She graduated from Northwest a couple years before Bobby did, so that's kinda neat.
We decided to start working out together.
Soo...
We worked out tonight! YAY!
Now I am pooped.
I already have showered and now I am in my cozy pj's.
Pitiful, huh?
I am planning on just relaxing tonight.
I'm gonna study, watch grey's and then hit the hay.

Anyway..
It felt really good to workout.
We walked/jogged on the treadmill, lifted weights mainly focusing on Legs and Abs.
We were at the gym for a over an hour.
I think that we are going to go a few times a week together. Which will be AWESOME!
It really helps having someone go with you. I mean, I've gone on my own but its a lot less boring if you have a friend there to motivate you. AND I wont be working out tomorrow, I will be doing it today!

Do you have a workout routine or go to a gym? Do you do it alone/with a friend/in a group? What kind of workout do you normally do?

oh lord. exercise! i do feel better when i exercise, but like you, i need a buddy. the crappy part - we all are crazy busy, on different schedules and i am the only one of my close friends that has a kid! whoops, there goes the excuses! it was the same thing when i was going to weight watchers. i did great when i had my buddy there, but it was easier to slack off when i didn't have someone there next to me.

good for you! keep it up and wish the rest of us luck to do the same!

i exercise about 4-5 times a week. i do much better with a partner. my husband and i try to run together a couple of times a week. in the spring, we traine for a 1/2 marathon. that was great. afterwards, out schedules have been nuts and we just don't get to go together as often. we kind of juggle things with the kids. i go then he goes. it works out so much better when you can motivate each other.

i just also started an exercise class with a few girls and i love it. we do weights and cardio. oh, exercise is a battle however, i look at it but it makes me feel so much better after i do it. good luck

I don't have a regular exercise routine. I used to run, but lost my motivation. After this next baby, I hope I can really crack down on getting into a routine and getting in shape. Today I noticed my butt and arms were really sore.... from Porter's swim class yesterday HAHAH! All we do is move in a circle and lift the kids up and down and around in the water HAHA!

I am sooo lazy when it comes to exercise! I do love to walk & wish I could run-have given it a crack a few times & when I would work myself up gradually to a run my shins would BURN for days on end! Then about 3 1/2 years ago I found Curves. The answer to my work-out Prayers! It is a no pressure work-out that tells me what to do, 30 minutes + a few minutes of stretching! I don't have to be coordinated & jump around up & down off of a step like Stretch & Tone classes or aerobics. I can go in wearing my street clothes or what ever is comfy, ladies only & it is like a workout/gab session/therapy all in one & I feel great when I go-I get out of it what I put into it & if I am not seeing results it is because I am not pushing myself hard enough. I lost alot of weight & inches right away after having my son & it has stayed away with my workouts. Works for me :) I am not disciplined enough to do treadmill, stationary bike, etc.
    Have a great weekend!
