Its hard to believe that today is Halloween.
It feels like a normal day.
I can remember when I was a little kid, how exciting Halloween was; parties at school, costumes, candy. Every year I would be impatiently waiting for Dad to get home from work and eat dinner so we could go to Brooklyn and do some trick-or-treating. And every year by the time he got home, I was in my costume, fed, and ready to go...this routine happened for a long time but once I was a little older I learned to pace myself because we wouldn't leave right when Dad walked in the door.
I Kinda miss that. . . . .
Nothing really big planned for today. Sometimes I just think that I am so boring. Ha!
I am going to work on homework, stop at Target, go to work at Sylvan.
Speaking of Sylvan Learning Center... How stupid is it that they are open on Halloween night?!?!
Seriously, kids don't want to be tutored on Halloween. They want to go home and get ready to go trick-or-treating. I think that the first 2 early hours (3:30 and 4:30) are going to be kinda busy, but I know for a fact that we only have one, that's right ONE student coming at 5:30 and then five students at 6:30. They should have just closed for Halloween. Because honestly who the hell really wants to be their anyway... a lot of the teachers are parents...don't you think they want to be home with their kids too? Oh well, its not really my call. I'll be there no matter what.
What are some of your memories from Halloween when you were growing up?
What kind of traditions do you have now?
I am sure from here on out, our tradition will be to cart Reyna around and show her off!
