Life's Moments

I have two classes on Monday. In the morning and then in the evening. Both classes got out WAY early. Now, I am NOT complaining. But I pay good money for those credit hours. Don't ya think I should be in class for them?? haha. That's okay ...I don't mind really.

Just an update on school. Its going well. My classes aren't too bad.

Intro to Imaging is the basics about x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Med. Its interesting to know all the different things that need to be done, the preps, and so on. I just had a test today actually!

Medical Law and Ethics is just what the name says it is. Its kinda a neat debate class...about ethical issues, and things that happen in doctor offices and hospitals. Whats right and whats wrong. The only thing Im not crazy about is that my teacher goes into these big off the wall stories and gets way off track. That and she jumps all around, we seem to cover a bit of chapter 4, then jump to 7, then skip back to 3...it makes it hard to keep up with her.

Medical Techniques I is stuff I do as an Aide at work so its easy. So far, its been about taking vital signs like Blood pressure, pulse, temp ...so I have found that I get board and start to have wondering thoughts... I do a lot of highlighting to make my notes look pretty.

Computer Keyboarding...its kind of a joke. Its a "Open entry, Open exit" class. Basically a do it on your own, just get the work done. For each lesson, there's a timed typing so far the goal has been to type 14 words per minute/with only 3 errors. I did some typing today and I beat that goal. :) I typed 78 wpm/o errors. So I am hopefully gonna 4.0 that class!! Haha!

Well I had a couple people ask my how my classes were going...so I just thought I would fill everyone in!
