No Blog!!!!
Sorry I have MIA. This week has been busy and just flew by. I worked at Sylvan Tuesday and Wednesday. Its going well. I think its going to be a good second small part time job. I worked at Chelsea on Thursday, and this weekend I have been helping to get Bobby ready for Wayne State. Yesterday Rocky, Lisa, Bobby and I went his dorm and CLEANED. Lisa and I scrubbed. One thing is for sure, where Bobby will be living is at least clean...for now that is.
Have you ever lived in a dorm? Did you like it? What about your roommates, did you have any and if yes, did you like them?
After we all cleaned and got Bobby's room ready, we met Bobby's Uncle Dave for dinner. We went to a Mexican Restaurant, and it was sooooooooooooo good!!! YUM!
Today, I am just going to lay low. Bobby and I will probably hang out and just relax before he leaves tomorrow.
Have you had a good weekend?
Room #1... 2nd floor, Mason Hall. Roommate LaTrice Janine T**** (name withheld for privacy HAHA!). She was a large black girl from Chicago who wore spandex pants (on her size 22+ arse) and slept on the BARE MATTRESS on the top bunk. She put leftover stinky chinese in my mini-fridge and played crazy weird music. She and her friends hollered back and forth down the halls and hung out in her friends room, all in their skin tight spandex. I moved. Quickly.
Room #2: 3rd Floor, Mason Hall. There weren't any roommates available, aparrently, so I got stuck in a temporary "single room" on the 3rdfloor. AKA... Mind Your Own Business Floor. While other dorms had an open door policy... everyone keeps their doors open, you see a cool room/setup, you stop in and chat and say hi. Not Mason Hall Level 3. Nope. No open doors there. Not to mention it was something like $50 a week extra or something... so I was on a waiting list for the next available roommate.
Room 3: 1st Floor, Mason Hall. My roommate was Sarah, a senior majoring in Education and Science. She was super nice and we got along great. I still keep in touch with her via MySpace.
Whew! There you have it!
