So its already 7:45pm on Sunday night. How does that happen?
Anyway. . . .
Here's my weekend re-cap:
Friday: Bobby came over and my aunt made homemade meatloaf, baked potatoes, corn on the cob and coleslaw. She had cherry pie and apple turn overs for desert, but we were all so stuffed there was no way that we would be able to eat anymore! After that, I showed Bobby around OU's campus. He thought it was pretty nice. He had a hockey game at 8:30 and my Aunt Carol and Uncle Lee came as well. Bobby's team ended up losing, but its only the first game of many. So next week its on. After the game we all went to a bar/restaurant for a bite to eat and to visit. By the end of the night I was beat.
Saturday: I hung out and relaxed in the morning and I went on a bike ride around the neighborhood. I have never had a neighborhood to ride my bike in, so I thought that was kind of neat. Later on I drove to Wayne to see Bob and to meet his 3 new roommates, Al, Pete and Ray. They were all very nice. We ended up hanging out and going out to dinner...
Sunday: I went for another bike ride, did some laundry and had dinner with my Aunt. I know... so exciting. My aunt made homemade soup and it was wonderful. To say the least I will not starve while living here, thats for sure! The rest of the night Im going to be getting a few things done for school and just hanging out. I've got to gear up for my long day tomorrow. I have 3 classes and I leave at 10 and I don't get home until 6 (depending on traffic). So I need my rest!
Love, Granna
I'm like you, change is hard for me, I like to be in my comfort zone and have a hard time going outside of it. But you seem to have such a good attitude and you'll fit in and find your groove wherever you are.
I worked at a coffee shop for some of college (LOVED it) and a credit union. The credit union paid more and was a good stepping stone for my career in accounting, but I gotta say I really enjoyed the coffee shop. The tips were FANTASTIC :)
Hope things are going well, sounds like a full schedule for ya. You'll do great!
