Life's Moments

I have been a slacker! But to tell you the truth, I just have not felt like getting on this darn computer. Between work, and doing fun things in this wonderful summer weather, I get home and settle down, I just don't have the energy or desire to turn on my laptop. I'm sorry for my delay in blogging!!! I really have been busy. This past week, I worked a lot, including this past Saturday and Sunday. And most days after work I would try to make plans to see Bobby in some fashion. My weekend was good. But when I have to work both Saturday and Sunday, it is very limiting on what we can do with the evening. I like to get home by 11ish so I can get some decent sleep. So on Friday Bobby and I went to dinner with Tom, Ashley and Dan and then we all hung out at Ashley's place for a bit and by 10:30, we were leaving. And for Saturday my cousin's open house was in Troy so Bobby met me in Chelsea after work and we drove there. Stayed for a bit then came back to Jackson. Doing just that made me feel exhausted. So like I said, working the weekend makes the night pretty limited on what we can do. So this weekend wasn't too exciting. Although it was very nice to see my family at the open house. We don't get to see each other very often, so sometimes I feel like we aren't really that close. Sometimes things feel awkward because none of us really know each other. And thinking back on it, Im closer to most of Bobby's Aunt's and Uncles then I am my own. But moving on....

Today Bobby and I went and played some tennis. OH MY GOD, does my tennis game need some work! I haven't played in such a long time, I probably forgot how to even hit the stupid ball. Haha. Thank heavens Bobby puts up with me!!! I swear, I was hitting the ball all over the place. Poor guy, he sure did get his exercise for the day...he was running all over the court. I think we are going to try to play a little tennis more often, at least once a week. Which will be great. I used to love playing in high school, so I am hoping it all comes back to me soon!

Did I mention that I am still scrapbooking??? I even worked on a layout tonight. I just do a little here and there... its coming a long. I realized tonight that I need to take more pictures. I need to just have my camera with me so I remember to take pictures!!!

I have tomorrow off. A much needed day off. :) I am going to sleep in and then I am meeting my friend Aaron out at Lake Columbia to go out on the boat. I am really looking forward to it. Aaron goes to Huntington University so it isn't very often that we get to just hang out and relax. I will be sure to take pictures!
And then tomorrow night : FIREWORKS!!! Yay!!! I love fireworks!
