Life's Moments

Okay so in the past week I have been such a BAD Blogger!!! I tell ya, this week has just flown by so quickly I feel like I can hardly catch my breath! On Tuesday I had a dentist appointment and I am glad to report that I have no cavities and that my teeth are looking good. There's nothing like getting your teeth cleaned. I worked on Wednesday and Thursday and the work day went by quick. I think in those 2 days I worked, 8 post-ops came to the unit, which is great because that means WORK! Wednesday night I did something neat, Bobby and his parents and I went to see Northwest High School Band perform at the college. They did a collage of their music from the year. It kind of inspired me to pick up the piano again, which I haven't really just sat down and played in a while. I miss playing sometimes. But I have just been so darn busy that by the time I get home and had a free minute, something else needs to be done.
I had Friday off and I helped my mom in the garden and doing yard work. She is having her garden club over Monday night and wanted to get the yard/house cleaned up before hand. So my parents and I worked outside most the afternoon. Later that night Bobby, Ashley, Tom and I went to Ice Cream Parlor and got sundaes and then we hung out at Ashley's apartment for a bit. We didn't stay long because I had to get up early to work on Saturday.
Then today... I worked and it was a great Saturday to work! The patients we great, and the day wasn't slow but it wasn't hectic either. The day was just right. And I was sooo happy that it didn't drag. Saturday's at the hospital tend to just drag because there aren't any surgeries and many patients go home.
At the current moment Bobby and I are over at Jade and Leslie's. We have been hanging out here since 5ish and just enjoying each other's company. Jade made dinner. It was fantastic! HoBo's. Its a mixture of meat and veggies that get rolled up into foil and then just thrown on the grill for like 15 minutes. They were great! Quick and easy! I'm gonna have to keep the HoBo meals in mind. :) Now we off to play some domino's!
Tomorrow I'm going back to work!! YAY!
